Mehmas is really showing what a good sire he might turn out to be with 3 out of the top 4 in the market here.
Supremacy looked really good last time out at Richmond, but there is not a lot of substance to the form. An interesting stat here that only 1 horse in the last 12 runnings has run in the Richmond and won the Middle Park, not sure if there is something in that.
Same can be said for Minzall, the second in the Gimcrack was well beaten on Saturday and the third Mystery Smiles(beaten 2.75L) is actually a form line through Method. Mystery Smiles was beaten a length next time out by The Mighty Gurkha won was then beaten 2.25L by Method.
Reading that, Method is .5L ahead of Minzall.
I think it will be between Minzall and Method and currently Method is a better price at 7/2.
Method 7/2
September 23, 2020 at 10:46 #1502899Not big into betting the 2yos, but agree with you Frenchy on Method. Interesting to see if Jessie chances Lucky Vega here after his luckless passage last time. Would give us some idea on Thunder Moon.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 23, 2020 at 11:05 #1502901I really hope she does run him, so we can see. I’m not that convinced now as you know, but we’d get a very solid idea if he runs on Saturday and also the form line for Thunder Moon like you say.
The Dewhurst is currently looking like an epic race, so we could do with as much help as possible trying to work that one out!
September 23, 2020 at 11:15 #1502904Dettori on Method, backed him when he won last time out but a much more difficult race to work out this time.
September 23, 2020 at 11:37 #1502907I wouldn’t rule out Lucky Vega. From his last run in the National Stakes only beaten 2.5 lengths by Thunder Moon. (jockey said colt got no run and was checked twice in the closing stages)
September 24, 2020 at 16:58 #1503126I envisage a depleted field and a Lucky Vega win.
September 25, 2020 at 14:22 #1503277May not be so depleted with less rain than i expected. Good news if they all do run for the spectacle.
No idea who wins.September 25, 2020 at 14:48 #1503328Very much a case of sit back and hope we see a potential superstar with this race unless you have a very strong fancy
September 25, 2020 at 15:12 #1503338A race to savour undoubtably. When you have 107 rated The Lir Jet and Tactical in the market at 12s and 14s, this must be a hot renewal.
BUY THE SUN
September 25, 2020 at 20:53 #1503408Just rewatched both of Methods starts
Had forgotten just how good he looked
And not like he was beating nothing, he beat fev rover by 5 lengths who has won a group 2 and finished neck second to dandalla
Then he absolutely flew past the mighty gurkha who has won a group 3 since
He just looks like a pure sprinter with push button acceleration
He hits 4/1 at any point I will definitely have a bet and if I do I will also take some of the 20/1 about him for the commonwealth cup
September 26, 2020 at 13:17 #1503523I can’t miss out on 20-1 for The Lir Jet here, I think that he’s the type to bounce back.
September 26, 2020 at 15:10 #1503549Proper speedball that Supremacy. Trainer was earmarking the Commonwealth Cup straight after his first win so I assume that is the long term plan.
