Michael Owen has called on Lambourn trainer Dascombe to join him at Manor House Stables,in Cheshire, following the departure of former trainer Nicky Vaughan last month. The training complex is the brain-child of Premiership footballer Michael Owen who has invested huge amounts in an attempt to catapult the 170 acre establishment into the top echelons of horseracing. That dream may now be nearer to fruition with the help of Dascombe who’s skills as a trainer have been advertised by notable wins from cheaply bought yearlings.Betfair founder,Andrew Bert Black, has committed to investing into the scheme.
