I’ve just put a few together that I’m going to have a few pounds on tomorrow hoping things might turn around..
This is usually mine and Maggie’s (my racing friend) lucky day. Once when the late Marsha and Daniel’s Flyer won there we had 5 winners out of 7, not sure we will achieve that again but everything crossed for a great day.

Winter Snowfall – 7/2 EW
(Rev.Forecast)2.25
Silver Lady – 4/1 EW &
Caernarfon – 9/2 EW

New London 9/2 EW
Wise Eagle 20/1 EW

)3.40
Dance Sequence – 5/1 – WIN
Cinderella,s Dream – 16/1 – EW
See The Fire – 33/1 (ante post) – WIN4.15
Two Year Old many unraced – Paddock inspection needed.4.50

for our Godolphin competition tomorrow.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 4, 2024 at 22:35 #1692931I think the handicapper has finished it for him I’m afraid and they’re probably just making the most of him running in such good races. I don’t know who’s travelling down with him but I know Danny will look after him. He eased him off at Ascot as soon as he didn’t feel right. We’re on a greyhound walk in the morning but will make sure we get back for 3. We haven’t spoken to his connections for a while but will be seeing them at Kelso on Wednesday. I’m glad you’ll be there to look out for him!
May 4, 2024 at 23:19 #1692938I’ll be pleased to watch out for him for you Moe and do you think he could spring a wee surprise? It’s been a strange week at HQ. I’ll give you a wave..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 5, 2024 at 03:36 #1692954I hate using my phone. I just typed out my choices for today, with all my smart reasoning, then hit the back tab and lost the lot aasrrgh
Here is the bare bones version….2.25 Silver Lady 4/1 Bet365
3.00 HMS President 10/1 Paddy Power
3.40 Star Style 18.00 on the Exchange
Let’s hope Silver Lady gets us off to a good start Jac

Good luck everyone
May 5, 2024 at 12:39 #1692997Have a wonderful time at your Happy Place Jac! Hopefully you’ll find a few nice winners to make your day complete!
I hope Emily’s party went well! As for City of Troy – what a let down. I haven’t had a chance to read/see any reports of “what went wrong”. I’m sure the bookies are all smiles counting their cash!I am shocked & thrilled I made it into the top three of the TTF! I do love that competition!
I thought my chances were long gone, then a few nice winners at Cheltenham gave me hope. What an exciting last day.I’m on 900 pts in the Godolphin comp – and I see there are people with over three thousand points ALREADY!! How can that be…..

Stay Safe Everyone!! Good Luck with all your bets today.
May 5, 2024 at 13:45 #1693019There’s no money at all for Wise Eagle; there would have been a bit of blue somewhere if they fancied him.
May 5, 2024 at 14:40 #1693037Bit of a shocker from Silver Lady Jac, although I don’t blame the horse as much as Buick for running up the near side. He could have moved over to the far side and sat in behind them. Still might not have won but I think he would have had a better chance instead of trailing in last
May 5, 2024 at 15:09 #1693055Oh my life. I’m a wreck watching him. He didn’t disgrace himself at all under all that weight!
May 6, 2024 at 23:22 #1693357Sorry this is late have been out visiting family today…
Moe…I got myself a great position to see Wise Eagle yesterday coming out from the pre parade ring down ‘the chute’ into the main paddock. It’s the best place to get close to the horses especially on a busy day, and you really get a feel of how they are coping.
Well… Wise Eagle strode out like an old trooper and his coat was gleaming..and Wwhat a great race he ran considering the winner Bague D’or carried more than a stone less and he also finished ahead of favourite Struth and last years winner HMS President who sadly for Graham ran no race.So glad I saw him Moe and he did you proud.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 7, 2024 at 00:00 #1693362Graham…I think Silver Lady like Cinderella’s Dream in the 1000 Guineas didn’t transfer that Meydan form to Newmarket and probably best watched to see how they turn out next race.
Apart from just the one winner Godolphin really had a bit of a nightmare day on Sunday…from WInter Snowfall being the first to falter to Symbol Of Honour in the 6th who completely missed the break and got very unbalanced on the track. In the Guineas Dance Sequence stopped running when she hit the dip and Cinderella never went to the Ball.

I was pleased (and relieved) to get my first winner of the day in The Actor who followed up on his near miss last time out to plug on gamely and steal the race from Tropical Storm.. such a relief to get a winner after the shock result in the 1000 Guineas where the biggest eyecatcher was Ylang Ylang running on at the finish. I think she was unlucky not to win that being held up by Ryan Moore and a bit short of room. The French filly ran a blinder too. See The Fire very disappointing and looked like she hadn’t come on much in her frame. Ylang Ylang won best turned out 🏆 her coat was shining like
silk. The last race I backed the winner Black Run and 2nd Sun God EW (went against my first choice Sea The Thunder) it was the most exciting race of the day and the pair pulled away from the field. That race got me back my stakes for the day and I took home a small but welcome £20 profit on the day.
What a meeting of highs and lows..hope you had a few pennies on The Actor Graham what a fight he put up to get to the front..

I have 1300 points
477th
In the Godolphin competition.Like Andre says how do the leaders accrue so many points so early.
Anyway we’ll play for fun through the game and see who comes out on top by Champions Day..it could be a case of tortoise and hare if the leaders use all their swaps up.Fantastic getting 3rd place in the TRF TTF Andre
What a finish.Take care all..Jac x
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 7, 2024 at 00:27 #1693363Well done with the TTF Andre.
I am on 2100 points (157th). Looks like the people with crazy scores have already used at least one of their swaps.
May 7, 2024 at 00:33 #1693365Nice score Catherine keep going
I missed a few in France but scored with Notable Speech and two at Churchill Downs.
