Frisky ran very promising 3rd this evening so I’m taking my return on her place and throwing it at..

    HOST . 28/1 EW
    8.30 Sandown

He is the outsider of the field but that doesn’t tend to bother Hannon and as long as Sean Levey doesn’t do a Snow Lantern on him he could scrape into one of the 4 places on offer (hopefully 1st)..very speculative bet this ad he is a notebook horse from a while back.

No luck today but FRISKY looks the one to take a forward step. :rose: Jac

That ebro river that won the 6:15 ran a remarkable race

Got worked up before the start
    Missed the break
    Pulled itself to the front
    Ran all over the track
    Then somehow won going away

Must have a lot of ability to win like that

Thanks for that FF, definitely a lot of potential there, he could be one
for the Weatherbys £200,000 2 yr old race at Doncaster later in the year.
Ive stuck him on my tracker :good:

I noticed an old friend of mine Mustaqbal running in the 6.00 Pontefract.
He’s got his conditions today and Michael Dods stable seems in good form. I don’t
know much about the young apprentice Aidan Redpath, other than he takes 7lbs off
and looks about 12  I did watch his 1 win at Newcastle in April on Havagomecca
and he did it nicely from the front. He didn’t panick when they came at him late on,
just one crack of the whip and pushed out hands and heels. At 25/1 I reckon he’s
worth taking a chance with :good:

Yes Ebto River one for the 2yo book FF very impressive. :good:

No luck for Mustaqbel tonight Graham  but he ran well for most of the race.
Noticed he had a 7lbs claimer riding I hadn’t heard of so maybe next time with a more experienced rider he’ll oblige.
Good luck tomorrow in the comps..Jac :good:

Yep Jac, I just wondered if he needed the race after a long break, although
he has won before after a break. He travelled so well for a long way, and
then just went out like a light. If it is the case he needed the race, and
maybe Callum Rodriguez is on him next time he may be worth considering

Did anyone catch the 1.45 at Brighton yesterday?
It was probably an optical illusion with those in front stopping but even so Bolton Abbey absolutely took off like a train at the end and made even more impressive was that he wasn’t travelling that well beforehand either.
Not sure what the form amounts to but certainly worth a watch

Hello All, Ebro River looked very impressive yesterday, certainly one to watch.

omg – I just watched the first at Haydock – Quickthorn won that in great style, pulling away easily. A lightly raced 4 yo, one for the notebook! Interestingly enough he finished behind Brentford Hope back in 2019.

Good Luck in the comps today and with your bets today. I’ve gone with my girl Rachael B. on Act of God for my nap, I need a nice winner, so hopefully she can get the job done for me.

Will take a look at that one Nathan. :good:

Good luck with Rachael on Act Of God today Andre it’s the last throw at the Handicap competition and you have a mighty score in 2nd hope you add to it today.

Just saw the best looking horse in tbe paddock win the 2.20 at Haydock…Kings Lynn  he’s very good. I tried tried to do a Graham and Nap a 40/1 shot in Ornate but he just ran out of steam and I put another outsider Ishvara in the same race in my 4PP so disaster at the moment..Still have With Thanks and a Godolphin Hotpot at Catterick in the 4.50 so fingers crossed.
    Best of luck everyone..Jac :bye:

Just watched Bolton Abbey’s race Nathan. With 1/2f to go I would have given him no chance,
I just wonder what he was trading at on the machine at that point.

Best of luck with Act Of God Andre, it looks a tough race to call. I have to agree
with you on Quickthorn, he looks a bit special. He could have given them a 1/2f start
and still would have won. He’s going into the tracker :mail:

It wasn’t Ornate’s day Jac  Hope you have better luck with your 2
later on. I’ve actually gone for a 50/1 shot nap myself with Longclaw in
the 4.10 at Punchestown. He needs to rediscover his form when he ran up
a treble last year when with Gordon Elliot, hopefully his new yard have
worked out what’s been up in his 3 since the move. Speculative to say
    the least

I’ll try again – I had a whole post written out, hit submit and got kicked aside because for some reason I wasn’t logged in!

Another rough day for picking winners – I’ll have to double check later, but I think I got one winner in the 4pp & Pick 3 contests (Boardman). Rachael tried her best with Act of God, finishing 4th. The races from Punchestown weren’t televised here – but it was strange, for all the races there, they’d showed the horses milling around at the start – then cut to a commercial or another race. No idea what was going on.

Was busy in the garden planting flowers under supervision! More to do today. Also celebrating my Father-in-Laws 90th birthday. Thankfully it’s a three day weekend here too!

Andre I know the feeling when you have just got to the end of your post and it disappears. My phone often decides to start deleting my message as my fingers get tired and drop onto the rapid backspace delete button, (wherever that is) and the words just run away before my eyes. Now I always Copy Text before I press Submit.

I didn’t think you could type up a post when you were not logged into TRF that’s weird.

Well done with Boardman yesterday he was one of my winning reserves along with Tipperary Sunset but all my main choices gained 0 points. I was however lucky in the the Godolphin competition today when I chose the Sky Angel to replace the filly Nash Nasha that has been taken out of training and she managed to run 2nd in the German 1000 guineas scoring me 300 points.

I hope your father-in-law enjoys some happy 90th birthday celebrations and that you keep enjoying the lovely weather.

Looking forward to next weekend and the Derby and Oaks and Nathan’s competition and let’s hope we can manage to find a few more winners than this weekend.

    Take care..Jac :bye:

Oh that’s a nice replacement Jac – was that your first swap in the Godolphin contest? I’m still waiting for three of mine to run for the first tine. I suspect one of them may no longer be in training, although from what I can tell she is. (White Moonlight)

We had a nice visit with my FiL. His twin brother was there too.

I might have to find a new lucky pin for the Epsom competition.

Had a couple come up on my tracker so I feel i’ve got to at least have a little double.

3.20 Windsor Jawwaal 100/30 Paddy Power.
He was bumped up 8lbs after an impressive run in a valuable handicap at
Ascot last year. he’s not been able to repeat that form, but he’s come
down to just 3lbs higher. His usual Jockey Callum Rodriguez is elsewhere,
but I don’t think his chances will be harmed with Hollie Doyle in the
    plate.

4.10 Cartmel Templepark 5/1 Paddy power

He ran up a good hatrick last year and was bumped up the weights, but still
looked competitive when in the frame his last 2 before the break. Looked well
in his return last month at Kemptonand and bar an iffy jump at the last it would
have been close. He runs off the same mark and should be up to this.

No I haven’t swapped a stable yet Andre it was free swap from Godolphin as one of my stable Nash Nasha had been taken out of training. I saw 3 chances of picking a Group winner on Sunday and went with Sky Angel who was 2nd in tbe German 1000 Guineas a Group 2..lucky I didn’t go for Victor Ludorum in the Gp1 in France as he was amazingly unplaced from 6 runners.

I still have 5 swaps left..
I think if one of your stable is out of training like White Moonlight Andre…they will give you a free swap. She may still be in line for a run outside of Europe. :good:

How great you have twins in your extended family I always wanted be a twin after seeing Parent Trap as a little girl..

I think we’re all heading towards an interesting few days betting wise this weekend..my heart wants Zeyaadah to win the Oaks and John Leeper the Derby but AOB will probably take the double although a little Snowfallmight cause a few problems. ;-)

Best of luck Andre and Graham..

    @Graham

Hope you did Templepark EW Graham..I missed a few on my tracker today mainly Captain Panic who dotted up at 3/1.
Same old story at moment when I back them they lose and forget to back them they win.
    Must try harder..lol…Jac :bye:
