Funny how they seem to know isn’t it Nathan..🤔 She did seem a certainty at 1/5 it was a bold call. B-)

    Silver Streak is a beauty
    Very good positive ride
Certainly opens up the Champion Hurdle a bit
With Ferny Hollow out I can swap for something and haven’t got one for the CH and was lining up Epatante but I’ll have to wait and see what happens with Saint Roi and Abracadabras now

Shiskin, Chacun Pour Soi & Appreciate It all looked very impressive today. (Although Shiskin didn’t beat much he did win easily) I only have Appreciate It in my TTF – happy to take the points! Hope you all got a few points today too!

I just saw the last minute switch in the H’dcap Comp. – We’ll see if my curse in that contest carries on lol Thanks for pointing it out Jac.

Good Luck with your E/Way bets Jac! You’re certainly due for a nice payout. I didn’t pick any of those three in Pat’s comp – so you have a good chance lol

About to watch Altior’s race – switching between the racing and the football lol

Wow – Nube Negra! Altior never looked in the race. I thought Duc Des Genievres would win (in running) but he made a mess of the last and Nube Negra showed a decent turn of foot.

Well done with Castlebawn West Andre and Nathan :good: :good: what a terrific front running performance that was.

With 6 places on offer I managed to squeeze 5th place with..
Myth Buster who went off a massive 40/1 so great result all round. Roaring Bull ran well but unplaced.

I think we may be hearing of Altior’s retirement some time soon I’m sure his doting owner and trainer will have seen the signs today that he is ready to kick his heels and be released from the job he has done so admirably over the years..what a superstar. Jac

What a great day’s racing for Andre and Nathan selecting Castlebawn West
and what a great performance that was winning the Paddy Power Chase. Very
well done guys :good: The bookies took a bit of a hiding from the Meydan
Thursdays kids with Jac further emptying their satchel with a whopping 40/1
place courtesy of Myth Buster. Brilliant Jac :yahoo: that makes up a bit
for the number of photo finish heartbreaks you’ve had of late and comes in
handy before the January credit card christmas bill drops through your letterbox
    (or your inbox)

The jumps season is normally the one I can rely on, but after a good flat season
for me the jumps better get a move on if it has to become a profitable one. I’ve
had a few winners, but I’m still trading on the negative side of breaking even.
Having said that, a fair bit has been invested in ante post Cheltenham Festival
market, so unless things pick up in the short term, it could come down to them.

It might be a while since Bapaume ran over hurdles, and a couple of
years since his last win over them, but I think he could do well in the 1.15 at Leopardstown. He’s had a pipe opener after a year off over fences last month at
Punchestown and after working his way into contention he tired before the last.
He no doubt would have needed that and the Mullin’s yard is flying at the moment
with 11 winners in the past fortnight. It’s a pity that 2 have pulled out leaving
    7 runners, but I’ve taken the 22/1 E/W Bet365. Sire Du Berlais
could be the fly in the ointment but I reckon he could take to his hurdling return.

Good luck anyone having a go today :good:

Happy to get a winner in the handicap contest for sure & a winner in my TTF stable, it was a good day!

Today wasn’t so good, as my star horse (Minella Indo) fell in the big race in Ireland.

Hopefully you can turn things around Graham – NH racing has always been my favorite.

Good Luck with your bets today and stay safe everyone!

    Thanks Graham..
Couldn’t believe Myth Buster went out to 40/1 and I’m certainly going to have a go at finding some big priced winners/places in those pin sticker handicaps in the future..like you I’m struggling to get of the black so far this jumps season but it is a little out of my comfort zone although I’m seeing one or two eyecatchers for nearer the Festival so let’s hope with your AP hopefuls you’ll have the bookies running for cover again.

Shame about Bapaume pulling up today Graham and Sire du Berlais just missing out on your place bring 3rd with 7 runners

Andre sorry about your Minella Indo falling in Ireland today, hope he’s ok. :good: This weather is playing havoc with the results and certain form will return once the going reverts from heavy.

Keeping an eye on Meydan Thursdays views counter as I’m hoping we will hit 30,000
before Big Ben strikes midnight on 31st December 2020. :good: Only about 200 to go I think..can barely believe it..what a rollercoaster of a year we have all had..

    So onto tomorrow…

    Newbury 1.30 Young Wolf .. 16/1 .. EW
Never been out of the first 3. :good:

3.15 Newbury .. The Glancing Queen .. 5/1 taken (price boost) .. EW
Alan King hard to oppose here.

Both horses EW and in a £5 Double

    That’s it
    Stay safe..Jac :rose: x

WD with the Myth Buster place Jac, I deserted him! Black Ebony is quite interesting on 2nd start after wind surgery Darren. Good luck today all :good:

Thanks green :good: The pin did a sterling job there but 40/1 was a very welcome return. I know that feeling when you desert a much loved horse I bet a lot of Frodon followers were feeling the same. :rose:

With you on Black Ebony too Darren..
He looks as though he could be benefitting from that wind op and better still ;-) my daughter had a pure black lop eared bunny called Ebony who we all adored. Did notice his dam sire is Be My Chief who I did get to see when he was standing at Newmarket. His handlers always called him the perfect gent..a lovely character.

Young Wolf down to 12/1 now but also had a small saver on
    Demachine 2/1 Win this morning.

Hoping Saint Roi might turn tables on Abracadabras today Darren as he’s in my TTF but should be a good contest.
    Best of luck..Jac :bye:
