2400 the years end Jiminus
The man said
" Before I believe I need to touch the wound "
A voice came down from heaven and said
" You are the wound "
Remember JIm
No-one believed Jesus
until they crucified him
December 28, 2005 at 13:25 #96062JTS .. you keep going on about how you want things left, dropped deleted or what-ever else and it comes across as being quite hateful. I couldn’t actually summon the energy to dislike someone who I have never met.
Do you realise that you are he main contributor to this thread. Is that what they mean by irony ?
December 28, 2005 at 17:52 #96063An easy enough truism to swallow, EC, and I’d be interested to see how the 2005 net total of posts to TRF – particularly the Racing and Lounge areas where Ian was mostly to be found – compares to last year.
He was a prolific poster not just in the sense of how many posts he posted, but also in how many he stimulated in / provoked out of others. I’d have him back on here in a heartbeat.

December 28, 2005 at 18:07 #96064Great support lads, I take my hat off to you all
I may be in the minority of the banning but at the end of the day I’m happy :)
I’ll try not to post in this thread again as it is getting a bit boring and as dave says I seem to be posting in here more than anyone else, any questions for me from now on will be answered via messenger, that should kill the circus that seems to be going on around various forums. :cheesy:
December 28, 2005 at 19:53 #96065My point exactly EC, no more and no less than that !
Like you say good posters are the life blood of any board, couldn’t agree with you more.
December 28, 2005 at 23:56 #96066As gamble isn’t on the list… i would like to vote for Ian-cheers x
December 30, 2005 at 20:38 #96067jilly dear girl , hope all is well , i agree that TRF IS A LESSER place without Ian , it got very silly at the end , but we did have a golden spell on this forum , yes I agree gamble was instrumental as well , somehow now topics are just very tedious

is it too much to ask for common sense to prevail ?
Happy New yr to all posters , remember life is way too short , lets have some fun

Jills your pointed shapely boots
still reek of renegade in the association,
and your strong intent at silence is respected.
Maybe Ricky is right…
Let the past give up its dead
for us to drink its juice in spectered form
in bygone acceptance and recognition..
however…
I adhere this year
not to the drinking
but to the sniffing
classes

January 1, 2006 at 20:46 #96073"when will the result be made?"
pmsl @ Tony, you must be are having a laugh Tony (you couldn’t make this up)
sorry had to post, I couldn’t resist it.
January 1, 2006 at 21:14 #96074Tony’s slip into classic goodfella speak
is certainly appropriate
as the competition this year
had elements of darkness
that De Niro himself would have lovingly sneered at,
and these Streetcar gangsta awards
would have curled his lip far more
than the glittering fokker sham
that enriches only his distatefully
american express pension pot.
De Niro overnighted at my gaff
in September 03.
We haven’t spoken since then,
but
I have a mind to inform him of the result of this.
As to when the result is made
I suspect Jim knows that one
or the monacled originator
January 3, 2006 at 18:44 #96082Well done for putting up the candidates Razzer .. I’m suprised you didn’t include yourself on the list.
I’m sure Diane is pleased that he won.
JTS did worse than he did last year and I think the poll itself had fewer people voting than ever before.
January 3, 2006 at 19:10 #96083Nice bit of fun Raz but that’s all it was I’m afraid, I’m amazed I got 2 votes to be honest as I’ve not posted much on the forum in the last year except in Bob Rolf’s 4PP comp, maybe one day Daylight will have a REAL forumite of the year award with members he feels deserves to be nominated, that would be more interesting.
ps. one good reason that Diane won whoever she/he is is that a few friendly members that post elsewhere instead of here voted for her/him :) the jockey club are now looking into it…. :cheesy:
Good fun though even some took it seriously with actually voting, you know who you are!
January 3, 2006 at 19:48 #96086hi Jim , glad to see you still posting and enjoying the bookies offices as ever!!!
Still I am sure you will welcome the result ,and add your congrats
best wishes for 2006
rICKY
January 3, 2006 at 20:08 #96087Ian, sorry Diane, would like to express his, sorry her, thanks to those who took the trouble to vote for him, sorry her.

January 3, 2006 at 23:23 #96088cheers Tony, if I didn’t post in this thread it would have been dull  ÂÂÂ
I’m glad to get "hammered" in a fantasy poll as it’s neither here nor there and shouldn’t have been on it in the first place and I didn’t care one iota about the poll but had to say a few things because most were taking this as a serious thread, look around some other forums and you’ll soon see who those were that were pulling their plonkers with this thread
hopefully one day we might get a real forumite poll and "Diane" couldn’t win it, in fact no banned member could win it as they wouldn’t be on it in the first place and rightly so.
nice bit of fun from Raz
keep it real! ;)
January 4, 2006 at 00:16 #96089You’re like a load of old women nagging – give it a frigging rest !
January 4, 2006 at 01:15 #96090lol@ Lovely Lady thank you!
