Small ew on Interpretation for me too
November 4, 2024 at 18:00 #1711792Just had a bet on Zardozi. Seems to have been staying on in his races and Zardoz is a favourite film of mine.
November 4, 2024 at 18:22 #1711825What does “bump” mean? Been curious for months, but felt like a chump for asking
November 4, 2024 at 18:27 #1711826I’m “bumping” the thread up the page Wilts, into date order. Maybe not the ideal word in hindsight, but I’m a creature of habit lol

VTCNovember 4, 2024 at 22:04 #1711843Small ews on The Map and Sharp N Smart though I’ll probably not wake up.
November 5, 2024 at 00:11 #1711846Can’t seem to access Radio Sport 927. Anyone got a link ( this happens every year!)
November 5, 2024 at 01:51 #1711848Seeing as I’ll be sitting up for this, but won’t be betting in any other races
downunder then I might as well give myself a couple of reassonable shots and chance an outsider.Godolphin have no kind of record in this race at all, but Zardozi might give them
a chance of changing that. 4th in the Caulfield Cup over 12f, but running on in the
final furlong. The 5th at Randwick last time out was just to get a run into him, 8f
far too shortZardozi 14/1 Bet365
Okita Soushi was trained by Joseph Patrick O’Brien when 11th in this last year, but
being drawn 20 didn’t give him too much of a chance. He was sold on to Ciaron Maher
in Australia after that. I reckon they thought he could have a chance this year if he
was a bit luckier in the draw. He won over 12 1/2f last time out in a Group 2 at Moonee
Valley. Drawn 10 gives him a better chance this time roundOkita Soushi 14/1 William Hill.
Obviosly there’s a lot of risk goes with this one but Chris Waller won this 3 years ago
so he must think something of Manzoice at 3 figuresManzoice 150/1 Bet365 (much less elsewhere)
Good luck all that stay up for this, I know Moe will have the radio on. Best of luck
November 5, 2024 at 02:41 #1711851You should get a link here Moe https://www.radio-australia.org/3aw-melbourne
Best wishes with Zardozi, I fancy him myself. Let’s hope we come up trumps
November 5, 2024 at 02:42 #1711852Moe, I’ve got a link on https://www.radio-australia.org/3aw-melbourne
November 5, 2024 at 03:39 #1711853Thanks. I found a link you put up a couple of years ago and was scared to move away from it in case I lost it again. I needed to download an app to get onto Radio Sport 927 and wasn’t sure what my password was; didn’t dare get locked out of my iPad which I depend on so much. Not sure if Radio5 still feature it.
November 5, 2024 at 03:43 #1711854It’s pot luck with me Moe. Just 20 mins to go till the the gates
open. Good luck
November 5, 2024 at 04:12 #1711855I backed Knights Choice at 125/1! But I don’t know why? Oh I do. It was near the top of the OLBG list of stats horses along with the horse that was scratched and Buckaroo. I needed that. Was down to £1.23 in my betting account.
November 5, 2024 at 04:13 #1711856Surprise result by all accounts. Absurde made the top 5 so gave it a good go.
November 5, 2024 at 04:13 #1711857Wow.
Always nice to see a result like that.
Vauban simply doesn’t have the speed for these races.
In other news. I got up out of bed of my own accord for this last year. Watched it on my own with some cheese on toast. This year my 4 month old little girl decided she was hungry. Incredible how times change

November 5, 2024 at 07:56 #1711862Sea King out the one gate , yanked back to last throwing away ace alley . UK jocks gets bad wrap in OZ but that was a bonkers ride and rightly getting slated in OZ . In hindsight OTI should have booked Jason Macdonald and lived with 3 or 4 kilos overweight .
Was Sea King going to sit at rear and loop 22 runners on bend at Flemington , he isn’t Phar Lap . - AuthorPosts
