LGR,My point is that people like ‘freeporn’ couldn’t be classed as new members on’the old place’.A letter in the post was required before one could join.I know he hasn’t joined yet,but I don’t recall the ones waiting-and waving- before having such names.
I thought that this new site was meant to be created because the old one was unstable? I know feck all about puters but this new site seems a bit ****,and always says at the bottom left .. error on page. Jim will know more..

..I’m a bit pissed… Perhaps someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but McManus’s money was made as a bookmaker and then a punter. If he was also the heir of a large fortune, it would have been of secondary importance. You don’t achieve what he has achieved by being a mug. Making honest money is seldom easy, and harder in the betting field, imo, than just about any other field. I think we can safely assume that JP knows the time of day.
I remember a few Cheltenhams ago JP McManus had a huge bet on his Mister Donovan ( I think it was the first race on the wednesday. The horse (fav) won and had McCririck slabbering at the mouth. It gave JP wider (racing) public attention.
One thing I have noticed ; and this is not a criticism as such (well, it is, but only slightly), is that he his not what we would normally term the loquacious type. Trying to get him to open up during interviews is like trying to extract the red stuff from the old stone material. Pointless.

But hopefully it was because Corm realised that he was someone who had multiple accounts on here. It’s quite obvious to me that there is one idiot on here who gets off on creating account after account after account – very childish, I would expect it on a football forum with teenage fans, but not on a racing forum full of intelligent adults.

It appears KCC was in fact the very same individual who has recently been banned several times under a variety of pseudonyms.
Jilly – the ‘freeporn’ type new members never get activated and, as such, are not a concern. It is all but impossible to eliminate the possibility of the odd nutter becoming a member and abusing the place but all I can realistically do is ban them once they’ve shown their true colours and try to keep a lid on it.
