What a ride on Hello Moscow there.
2999 for him now.
Was at that horse for the whole of the last circuit and he has got him up to win.
Great ride and a very tough performance from the horse.
February 9, 2009 at 20:43 #209223Vintage McCoy.
Two excellent chances coming up.
C’mon, AP.
February 9, 2009 at 20:46 #209225Quite agree. Vintage AP and vintage Plumpton. How did he keep his silks clean? Should do it in this next race. Desperate conditions.

Down at the last flight on the Henderson favourite.
February 9, 2009 at 20:56 #209230Christ,what drama. at least their both safe. Replay was scary.
February 9, 2009 at 20:59 #209231I cant believe it, i thought that was the moment.
She just seemed to jump too early and landed a bit short.
Glad to see both horse and McCoy up.
February 9, 2009 at 20:59 #209232Would you believe it?!!
Under normal circumstances would this meeting continue? Awful, awful conditions. Nice to see the horse is OK.
Good chance in the next.
February 9, 2009 at 21:00 #209233Interesting question to ask:-
Had McCoy not been going for his 3,000th win would Plumpton be racing today?
The conditions look to be appaling, bordering on dangerous.
February 9, 2009 at 21:04 #209236I agree, there is so much water both sides of the jumps, in addition to other places on the course.
February 9, 2009 at 21:07 #209238Very impressed with Milennium Royal earlier in the day – travelled so well in dreadful conditions. Backed the Doumen filly in the last as I made her 7/2 and could be backed at 8’s, lucky but a wins a win and Miss Seranne will go in next time out
February 9, 2009 at 21:15 #209241Conditions seem awful at Plumpton – so relieved that Miss Seranne got up OK … barely raceable???
February 9, 2009 at 21:18 #209243For all that there’s a lot of water about they do at least seem to be getting through the ground.
February 9, 2009 at 21:26 #209246Would love to back his 3000 winner but I am taking a gamble and waiting until tomorrow when he rides one for Hen Knight.
February 9, 2009 at 21:31 #209248He’s done it!!!
February 9, 2009 at 21:34 #209249Great stuff from a great Jockey.
February 9, 2009 at 21:36 #209250Can you believe he nearly kissed Nicky Henderson. Gave all the credit to Dave Roberts.
February 9, 2009 at 21:36 #209251Typical McCoy ride there. Congratulations to the great man. I can still remember him riding on the level for Jim Bolger as a wee nipper. He’s come a hell of a long way since.
