Considering posting my own system here. Don’t know if it’s of any use to this group.
The system tends to pick horses at short odds. This is due to the fact that I look at likely favourites and determine the best of them.
The system can be used in any race at any meeting, but I use it mainly at the Principle meeting.
Before posting the system I’ll give the selections to see how much interest there is. I will either post the system at some point or e-mail it direct to interested members of this site.
Hope this approach is in keeping with site protocol. (By the way, I am not a tipster or system seller, I don’t need to be).

The system defines the ‘main’ meeting as the one with the most prize money, excluding Irish and foreign meetings; as laid out in the Racing Post under Todays Cards on page 2.

snowman, thanks for your comments. Have to admit I jumped the gun a bit in posting 3 losers. When I don’t see them in the first 3 or 4 I assume they lost. So as you pointed out 2 non-runners, so only 1 point adrift.
