Ben and Mike and Krypton breathing down your neck though Darren
April 10, 2022 at 13:03 #1592771Set up for a great final day, was worried we’d be watching a procession this evening but fingers crossed it’ll go down to the wire.
The strike rate amongst us for picking golf winners this season is very good, think we’ve got 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places covered so far at the Masters too (still a way to go though I know). Pretty sure someones had the winner of the PGA tour every week in your sports betting thread as well Darren – if not it’s been very close to being that way. Great to see!
April 10, 2022 at 13:49 #1592780I see Bryson DeChambeau, someone who one claimed Augusta was a par 67 for him, missed the cut on +12.
Or should that be +22 Bryson?
April 10, 2022 at 14:32 #1592790Hahaha that was an absolute howler that line, looks like he’ll never live that down! Can’t handle a proper golf course, flat track bully that lad.
April 10, 2022 at 18:28 #1592867Go on Si Woo with the sunday surge, need him and Smith top 11 and Sungae top 6 for the ew money
April 10, 2022 at 23:22 #1592892Schefler gone 5 shots clear with 3 holes to play
April 11, 2022 at 00:04 #1592897A well deserved win for Scheffler – but just as well he was five shots clear after that putting display on the 18th!
April 11, 2022 at 00:23 #1592901Wd Darren and Cork.
April 12, 2022 at 12:20 #1593193WELL DONE DAZZLER and CORK ALL STAR TOO
Good to see our run kept going
Apart from Cam Davis making the cut the only return I had was my last day place with Morikawa.
And I was on DJ eleven places and he finished twelfth
April 12, 2022 at 15:56 #1593242Thanks all. A good result, especially with Smith and Morikawa filling the places.
I am not going to claim any great credit! I do not follow golf anywhere near as closely as I once did and only bet on the Masters and the Open – but a look at the recent results clearly showed Scheffler was the man in form. He really should have been clear favourite.
There is some seriously good tipping in these pages. 100/1+ winners!
April 12, 2022 at 16:28 #1593249I don’t follow golf much but two observations
Does Woods EVER smile. He’s such a miserable looking git
And why does McIlroy grate somehow? Is it just me?
April 12, 2022 at 16:45 #1593253Since his last Major win, McIlroy has finished in the Top 10 of a few Majors without ever looking like winning. Now he has managed to finish second in a Major without ever looking like winning!
Don’t want to sound unkind but I doubt he would have shot 64 if he had genuinely had a chance.
April 13, 2022 at 10:41 #1593380I have to agree Cork. If he is genuinely in contention then he bottles it for me. I can’t see him ever winning another major unless he posts a score when the leaders all come back to him . Just my opinion but hey ho!
April 13, 2022 at 16:05 #1593447sorry to be late chaps, but well done Darren and Cork All Star. he was always
in control (with a slight wobble at the end ). Great stuff guysApril 14, 2022 at 12:08 #1593643The other one finnnnnished for the moment and performing way below expectations is Rahm. Never got into contention, not even for 4-5 holes on day one.
April 14, 2022 at 12:59 #1593656Rahm was a very poor favourite on current form.
McIlroy’s 64 needs putting in context. He holed from off the green on one hole and then he holed that outrageous bunker shot on the last. It could easily have been at least a 66 or 67.
To my mind, he puts himself under far too much pressure in the early rounds and does not look like he is enjoying it. He needs to try to take that care free attitude he showed in the last round into the first round.
April 15, 2022 at 08:28 #1593733Well done Cork
And thank you guys to
