Sone very decent sorts up for this, but with me dubious about Dashel Drasher turning up, I’ve went for Flight Deck.
Loads to find on the majority of last years form, and though he ran very well in this, it looks like a stronger renewal this year
Very risky, but I’m expecting him to run, and if it cuts up, should get a run for my money at the odds
Flight Deck 40’s EW

Flight DeckNovember 27, 2024 at 14:23 #1714177nice work bobby,
are you on 2 or 3 places?
November 27, 2024 at 21:29 #1714201Sadly just the two places Ken, so he’ll be booked for a short head third

November 28, 2024 at 20:24 #1714277Been trying to work out a 100% book. Trouble is…
Will Strong Leader jump? Has often gone straight through one (or two). I don’t think it was a great Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle – Buddy One beaten roughly half the distance Teahupoo did at Cheltenham. But it does seem he’s still progressing. Is Langer Dan fit?… Likely to be in the Stayers at the Festival, so no need to protect his handicap mark this season. Maybe will be fitter than has been on reappearance in the past. Wouldn’t be surprised if the current unease in the market is something to do with connections believing he’ll need it. Solely on “form ratings” LD is the value, but doesn’t seem to travel that well through his races. So just how much they can get him to top form first time up this early in the season – remains to be seen. Strong leader is quite a big sort and has appeared to need his first run of the season before too. Plus, what is the pace going to be? SL has made the running before, but was held up in his last two races (where showing improvement). Was being held up something to do with that progression? Might need to go to the front here. Monmiral and Langer Dan’s best have also been shown when held up. Monmiral has had a run so may have fitness on his side. But of the three principles imo looks the least equipped for a slowly run race and although reunited with blinkers doesn’t win very often. Also has a lot to make up on form (more than current prices would suggest). LD might have an advantage with most speed in a slowly run affair (stepped up in trip here) but also a likely positional disadvantage – coming from rear. Rank outsider Flight Deck made the running last time out and ran well to be runner-up in a class 3 handicap. That was at 2m6f. Seems most likely to set the pace, but if he’s to pull off a shock I wouldn’t expect him to make it anything like a fast pace. But his form is a mile short of these. Vtc’s 40/1 would appeal
. But even if having the run of the race, the current 28/1 is too short for me. I’ll be cheering him on for you.Don’t think I can get involved.
Good luck.Value Is EverythingNovember 29, 2024 at 20:38 #1714332An abysmal turnout
