I’ve had a good look at the last few results to see if I can understand why the results are so different from the domestic season and it appears painfully obvious what’s happening.
All my selection are made according to the prices that I can obtain for certain teams (I bet within given price ranges) and during our domestic season the matched bets are always well above £20k….. but in this recent glut of crap, we are lucky to see £1k matched… today’s had only £184 matched on the correct scoreline, that just cannot represent the true chances of either team, the reason,I think, of why the results are so wayward.
I’m not concerned in the slightest about losing runs, I expect them at these odds, but the results are not even close on a lot of occasions and I can only assume that this lack of liquidity is throwing a spanner in the works. We are still in profit and I will continue with the thread because I’m still convinced that we can turn this around, but this low liquidity is becoming a concern…. anything for a laugh, so onward we trudge…..

Bugger, this is beginning to look a bit sick with Thailand and Bahrain ending in a score of 1-1 and losing us another 1.50pts….. I wanna start the USA horse racing system today, so I’ll catch up with the updates as soon as I can…. sorry it’s taking so long, but I didn’t expect (or intend) to get this busy, it’s getting out of hand again.

OK guys… a new system for use with USA horse racing. Let me be the first to admit that I know naff all about American racing, so, because I am a roulette nut, I am going to treat this like roulette. I am going to assume that we are going to get a winner sometime because of the price range that we are going to be betting in, so the object of the exercise is to outrun the losers and to do this we require a staking plan.
It must also be noted that this is a starter only and requires regular inputs and tweaks from all concerned, I’m not doing this on my own. This is an effort to try and find a steady system by everybody making contributions…. I chose USA racing because it all kicks off whilst I am asleep, I wanna wake up every morning to a cup of coffee and extra money in my bookies account….
There’s a hell of a lot of races for me to get involved in personally, so I have only chosen the first 3 meetings in alphabetical order, if you guys want to look at the others too, please feel free to do so. I use the ATR website (free) and bet at Betfair SP if Betfair are covering the meetings, if the meeting is not covered by Betfair, I use another bookie and take the prices from the Tote pool….MrE

Because this is all new to me, I tend to play on the safe side and stop at a winner, but doing this over the last 5 days has cost me….. nonetheless, it’s better to err on the side of caution in case this doesn’t work at all…. lets see how it goes….

Because tennis is on tv and I’ve got back in after taking the dog for a walk, I find myself with a bit of time to catch up with the balances so far. Not including today’s result, we are at Day 27 on the footy and the balance is + 21.10pts…. I was targeting 20pts a month and reached it without noticing and this means my staking is now too high, I should have been back to 0.50pts bets. Because my bets for yesterday and today have already been placed, the bets must stand, but from tomorrow, were back to minimum stakes to ride out the 30 days.
Am finding this a bit too time consuming, and considering the terrible results of late because of poor liquidity, I am possibly going to drop this after the 30 days and restart again when the domestic season restarts… I will continue with the thread as long as possible but it will be horses and dogs for evening racing…MrE
