Who do people think will win this? After looking at the breeding and jockey bookings Zafonical Storm looks worth an interest at 16/1.

I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the jockey booking. I don’t imagine Brendan Duke has too many first time out two-year-old winners. Very unoriginal as I expect it to be favourite but Carlito’s Spirit seems to hold good claims on paper. Connections made a good start with their 2-y-o’s last year and he certainly looks bred for the job as a half brother to a couple of fairly useful sprinters. He’s from the first crop of Redback, himself precocious enough as a 2 y o.

You are probably right at that sort of price EC. It won’t be a race I’ll be backing or laying in but one that I shall be watching with interest.
