Apiarist 22/1 e/w 1/5 6 pl – Solid form on the turf last year in decent class and progressive on the all-weather over the intervening period. No problem with course, going and distance, in form and should be fit enough.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Mr Professor won this well last year , everyone seems to think he needs heavy ground however he put a certain Westover in his place on good ground , looks a horse to catch fresh and he looks a decent e.w bet

That was some turn of foot the horse showed to make up two lengths in the last half furlong. He would surely have won comfortably with a clear run.
