Usually like an Antepost in this when the entries come out, and the one I always think of for this, Empirestateofmind, gets an entry. I bet him Antepost at the initial entry stage two years back, and only held off at the same stage last year, as I his form was a concern. I’m back in this year though, and I’ll definitely back him when the market forms, as I was a lot happier with him last season. I’m sure his mark would be a concern some years, but he’d have got in comfortably in 2024

two for me at this stage (both EW ) Thunder Run and Lattam. Looks to be plenty of front runners in this so thats why i chucked last years runner up in as they may well cut each others throats up front

Pressure’s On – 50/1All 3 horses ran at Newmarket’s final meeting Oct/Nov where the going was soft. Can one of them win the first big race of the new flat season.❓️🫢
Bullet Point was bumped at the start but made good progress throughout to hang on from Tribal Chief who dwelt at the start, found himself short of room 3f from home before delivering a strong challenge in the final furlong where Bullet Point just managed to hold of his challenge.
Pressure’s On led all the way in the last race and held his position, he needs to prove he can get the extra distance and step up in Class..
Of the 3 Tribal Chief is my idea of an improver.

I’ve taken a chance that Mr Professor can follow up last years win. I don’t know if they plan a repeat bid, what with the other runners, but I’ve taken 33-1 just now

Decided on MIDNIGHT GUN being a grey might be able to see how he does. Plus I know VTC’s money will be down on it, if nothing else for his midnight system.
