Proper minefield , had a good look and my main play is Orbaan , he has plenty weight but only 2lbs above his winning mark and the trainer has a great record in the race ( yard also going well ) fingers crossed he can get in the places at a nice price , King ottaker is getting nicely handicapped to , he was highly tried last year hopefully he can get back on track here , both e.w , good luck all

Trends aren’t always that strong on handicap races, but in the last 6 years of the Lincoln, the average RPR of the placed horses is 101.5, versus the previous 6 of 96.7. The 6 past winners have been rated between 99-102 and carried 9-0 to 9-4. With a perfect blend of speed and Galileo in the pedigree and having won first time out at Doncaster last year, Danyah seems to almost perfectly fit the profile of a Lincoln winner.

    Danyah 9/1

Backed Eastern World to win at 5s & River Nymph to place (5 places) at 12s.

Also stuck some money on Bounce The Blues in the 14:00.

Danyah 9-1 is one of those bets that I’m really confident about, but I just had to take the ew 7pl instead of the win. I just thought that was a proper steal, so it’s a big bet by my standards.

had a good bet on danyah at 16/1 but pricewise is usually the kiss of death for me

The last two races seem to have favoured horses drawn high

‘Thady’ Gosden looks a genius – all these massive wins already.

    Jealous? You bet!

That’s a very exciting start to the flat season actually, a new combo in force! Can’t wait to see what they can do together

I agree Tatling, it’s not particularly exciting at all, and I backed it. If anything, there was a disappointing inevitably about who was going to win.
