oh no..this is so terrible..the talented Legal Bid has just collapsed and died after finishing second at 5pm Fontwell. He was timmy’s only ride..am so dreadfully sorry for the connections and Mr Gifford who was singing his praise just before the off..

<!– s:cry: –>That was desperately sad, as the trainer was talking about him having so much promise, and what an ideal horse he was to train. You can imagine the excitement of his owners following him out for his first run, full of hope for his bright future, and their pleasure afterwards after he ran so well, only to be completely poleaxed by this terrible tragedy. Racing sure is a roller coaster ride.
Condolences to his connections.
