Thought I’d mention one that I’ve got a bit of a fancy for
in the Lanzerote Hurdle at Kempton. I’ve kind of followed
him for a while. He’s a decent sort and won £56,000 in the
Grade 3 Virgin Bet Heroes H’cap Hurdle at Sandown last February,
but then seemed to lose his way, he wasn’t seeing out his races,

He was off for 263 days and had wind surgery before he made a
return at Chepstow last month. He travelled really well until
he ws tiring at the 3rd last, whilst still in contention. Charlie
Deutsch was “very” tender with him after that and he drifted home
in 6th. I reckon he got enough of a race after his break to put
him spot on for this and I smell a plot here. He’s been sliding down
the weights, and I thnk Venetia will have him spot on for this. Still
20s at Paddy Power and Betfair and I’m heading to take a chunk of that
    right now :good:

Added – Green Book 20/1 Paddy Power and Betfair 20/1

I presume you’re talking about Green Book – now into 14-1 with both firms after your investment?!

I also see that Grand Mogul is cut from 33s to 16-1 with both for the Warwick Classic chase…

Holy sh*t Oscar, what an eejit  Yes you are
of course right, it’s Green Book. I think he has a
great chance. He cruised through the race and was
let down very easily when tiring after a long break.
Hopefully there’s a plan here. As for my bets changing
the odds, they would have to be pretty skittish if that
brought about a 6 point plunge.

    Cobblers Dream @ 14’s

Unfortunately won this last year doing cartwheels from a horse i thought was really well handicapped. Started backing him for Cheltenham after that and was deciding where to book my luxury holiday two hurdles out in the Martin Pipe before he just got passed on the run in.

Has looked like he will do some serious damage to himself in his two novice chases this year so quite glad he goes back over hurdles. Just a couple of pounds higher than that run which is fair enough.

Paul Nicholls takes horses to places like Exeter on the way to getting a mark for a reason.

130 looks potentially lenient for Outlaw Peter to me and 6/1 is fair.

I’m with Cobblers Dream at 14-1 as well. I think that he has a live chance here back over hurdles

Though Outlaw Peter is my main bet this far, Freddie Gingell is good value for his 7lb claim.

Hermes Boy 16-1 for me, though he does have to improve, and I think that he can

Fifty Ball 33/1 ew 6 places

Some strange results lately and huge odds. This one wouldn’t surprise me.

I like Fifty Ball too, Hawk, EW. And there’s very little wrong with the hurdle form of Cobblers Dream, though he’s 10lbs higher than when winning this last year. Chasing hasn’t worked out, but 3 of the last 5 winners of this came back from novice chasing.
