Very deep and competitive
November 22, 2021 at 15:22 #1568559My antepost are
Cloth Cap
OntheropesVf x
November 22, 2021 at 18:16 #1568575I really like Eklat de Rire here. Seems to tick all boxes.
Eklat de Rire 6/1
November 22, 2021 at 19:45 #1568602Yes I just put my free bet on
Eklat De Fire, trainer in great form and Rachael Blackmore onboard

VF x
November 22, 2021 at 20:03 #1568608I just love the look of eklat de rires form with escaria ten
That galvin, next destination, escaria ten form looks red hot
I think all 4 of them will be 160+ at the end of the season

Ontheropes looks his main danger imo, I fancy him to run a huge race in the national hunt chase if they went that route
November 22, 2021 at 20:41 #1568612I haven’t fully looked at the race yet but I was working from the top of the weights down tonight and although on paper I find Eklat De Rire and Ontheropes the most interesting and I haven’t gotten any lower than him in the weights yet, Eklat ground concerns perhaps? All his winning seems to have come on heavy or similar ground, haven’t looked at the weather yet but I don’t believe we’ll be looking at anything like that on Saturday. I’ve also got this thing about him doing it in smallish fields so far whereas Ontheropes has that one ticked and that he unseated on his biggest day so far at Cheltenham. Not to say he won’t handle quicker ground or a big field but they’re both very valid questions for the antepost favourite. I don’t think there’s any doubting he’s better than a 154 horse though.
I really liked Ontheropes profile but as good as he looked in the Munster National if you are looking at the bare form through the 2nd horse A Wave Of The Sea, he’s got a fair bit to find at the weights with Annamix and Brahma Bull on what they did to that same horse giving him a lot more weight in the Kerry National. I don’t doubt Ontheropes has a lot more potential than either of those but strictly on what he’s done, he’s not exactly gone unpunished for that win.
November 22, 2021 at 21:14 #1568629Of the 4 market leaders i like Ontheropes the least.
November 22, 2021 at 21:36 #1568633It wont be quick ground
Its gd to soft atm and they are watering plus there is rain forecast for Friday
Itll be very nice ground with no excuses for anyone especially if that rain hits
November 24, 2021 at 23:05 #1568933Kitty’s Light is going to be one of those horses I follow off the face of the Earth and connections have every right to believe they have something better than a decent handicapper on their hands. I was convinced the Welsh National was going to be a sure thing, however no entry has been given and this looks like the early season target. Hard to believe he’s only 5.
Copperhead could be so well handicapped it’s impossible not to have a go. Looked like a very good thing as a novice and last season can be easily written off. I’m very hopeful of a big run.
November 25, 2021 at 12:03 #1568961No Chris’s Dream with the ground how it is, which is no surprise as he loves it soft.
I kept my powder dry on this one antepost purely because i really like both EDR + OTRs. I could’ve just backed both but i decided to swerve that idea.
OTRs to my eye won with much more in hand than the 2.25l winning margin suggested, however, the handicapper has agreed and put him up quite a lot i thought. O’Keefe’s 3pd will be a help there.Eklat De Rire for me is a dark one for the GC, so i’d like to think he’s well handicapped or i’ve got that all wrong. I don’t have as much concern over the ground as long as its nice ground not very good ground. He’s massive, but he’ll be grand on it. The win over Escaria Ten looks good.
Off 154 and OTRs off 153 with the claimer, i still would hope EDR has more up his sleeve than OTRs. I like OTRs for a National Hunt Chase for example, but i like EDR for a GC, so off their marks you’d hope he’s better off.
Of the others i might be mad like him as he’s mad himself but i wouldn’t be shocked if top weight Brahma Bull ran a decent race and placed here.
He beat A Wave of the Sea further at Listowel than OTR did at Limerick carrying more weight. The issue is he has less upside, but he’s a big price and i like the jockey over fences.Twitter: Jackh1092
Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 25, 2021 at 13:18 #1568975On O’Keefe’s claim listed on the RP, i think it’s an error + he has no claim.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 25, 2021 at 20:13 #1569053172 Copperhead
169 Full Back
169 One More Fleurie
168 Demachine
165 Fortescue
164 Annamix
164 Cloudy GlenNailed my colours to Demachine earlier in the week and ratings don’t disappoint. Very hopeful of a big run from this one.
As peter.h says Copperhead 16/1 is too well handicapped to let go. Stable is in better nick than last year and seem to have faith in a decent animal.
The two on 169 have a class gap to close. Fortescue was fit enough at Kelso and didn’t make as much impact as I would have expected.
Of the Irish I’ve got Annamix 25/1 in a place as the best and Listowel run in a competitive event puts this one right in the (Anna)mix. That one completes my three against the field.
November 26, 2021 at 17:35 #1569178Loads of hipster race references by the shrewdies diving in to Fiddlerontheroof. LOL.
(That one at Carlisle, lest we forget).
November 26, 2021 at 18:48 #1569188I’ve never seen a horse so well suited to the fast paced tempo of a Hennessy as Kitty’s Light will be. Stays all day and will run on past beaten rivals picking them off down the straight one by one.
Look through all his runs and you’ll see a future Grand National type who was robbed in the Bet365 Gold Cup on his only run above 3m when the leader hung in the straight and cost KL the win.
A fast paced 3m 2f on likely good to soft couldn’t be any better. I think the 10/1 each way is as good an each way bet you’ll see with 7 places on offer.
November 26, 2021 at 19:26 #1569198While I respect Eklat De rire , onetheropes will need to improve a lot to win here , I’m sticking with fiddlerontheroof , he looked difficult to win with last season but the 2nd in the brown advisory is strong form and the Colin Parker traditionally produces a good winner , I’ve played him at big prices for the GC as I think he has the potential to be that good , I don’t see anything else of a similar profile , for a e.w point of view out of the Mullins horses I really like Annamix at the price , consistent and I just wonder if brahma is is in here to help with the weight with Annamix
Fiddlerontheroof win
Annamix e.w
Rev forecast
November 26, 2021 at 19:30 #1569200Two selections for me, and I’ll go with my main fancy which is Kitty’s Light at 14-1, and also Fiddlerontheroof at 8-1
November 26, 2021 at 19:39 #1569202Backed Eklat de Rire 6/1 last week. A bit of rain would be nice. Also added Canelo at 50/1 EW. He ran a very decent race over 2m6 at the same meeting last year.
