Morning Kristi,

Well, another good day yesterday, the Fanshawe filly ran a lovely race on debut and was only beaten by greenness. Patsy Covgrove gave her a lovely introductory ride and as always with this yard, he was not hard on her, looked like she was going to pick them up but did well to ginish 3rd beaten 1/2L and a nose, deffo one for the notebook!

I have 2 that i like very much today and 2 that i think could run well:

Hey,

As you may have realised i follow the Andrew Balding yard closely so looked at Tweedledrum closely and several times but decided it was too tricky a race, hope it wins for you though.

I used to be a member of the London Racing Club and aabout 5 years ago the guest speakers were no other than 2 up and coming sons of excellent trainers in Andrew Balding and Nick Gifford.

They were excellent panellists and after the meeting gave us some ‘types’ to watch out for from their yards and also courses where they aim to get winners. Since that day i have done well and often have a chat with both when they are at the races. Nick in particular will answer any questions and often gives you a good tip too
