I nearly bet Chtibello for this, as I think 4-1 is a fair price. I bet a lot of the yards runners too, but in the end I went with Elgin.
I know that he has had a long layoff, but I noticed some money for him last week for The Champion Hurdle, so I just wondered that maybe they had him back in good nick after his absence. He will like the ground, and he won this in 2018. They liked him enough that day to supplement him for The Champion Hurdle, so I will take the 9-1.
February 14, 2020 at 00:31 #1482856Looks a decent price now Mark, with Fusil Raffles not going now. Best of luck.
I’m not wanting to bet in this, but I’m interested in Quick Grabim at 25’s.
February 16, 2020 at 11:11 #1483064Bob, I haven’t read anything about rescheduling, so you can go ahead and delete this.
February 16, 2020 at 23:25 #1483123I’ll Archive it just now Mark, think you’re right, can’t see it being rescheduled, but no harm in keeping it another week.
February 17, 2020 at 19:27 #1483174Getting run now at Kempton on Saturday, with entries reopening.
February 18, 2020 at 18:12 #1483235Revised entries…..

I’d be happy to see Fusil swerve this, and go straight to Cheltenham, but if he does trap, it’ll be everything crossed for a return to form.
Quick Grabim very interesting at 33’s EW three places, but no money down yet.
February 22, 2020 at 09:56 #1483577This still looks a race to swerve for me, but I’m still very interested in Quick Grabim, and the 18’s looks ok.
He’s getting bet, but I might just hold off, and maybe back in running.
February 22, 2020 at 10:54 #1483587Not the greatest renewal. I think Song for Someone is still improving and should have a decent chance here. 9/4 will do.
February 22, 2020 at 12:57 #1483616I agree DBR, but at a few points more, I’m going to side with Elgin at 5-1
February 22, 2020 at 14:20 #1483625I was a huge fan of Quick Grabim in his early days, but his first run after leaving WPM wasn’t that encouraging.
I’ll still bet him here though, in the off chance that he needed that run.
12/1
February 22, 2020 at 14:33 #1483629WD DBR, I think that’s what they call a wet sail!
February 22, 2020 at 14:46 #1483630Nice interview with owner and trainer, seem like good eggs both.
