Thank you so much Jac for your comfort, I enjoyed your words very much!
I am also very confident on Marsha as I followed her from early days and know her rocket qualities.
As I wrote earlier, I see her as the fastest 5f horse on the planet, she just needs very precise handling
and it all depends on the Sniper to find her a gap, and I hope he will.
I have my last money on Shutter Speed, and if she wins the Diane, I can put it all on Marsha.
So exciting days ahead..June 6, 2017 at 16:51 #1303664If the ground is anything resembling ‘good’, absolutely nothing on this planet would get anywhere near the favourite.
5f on fastish ground is hers to lose.
In fact, I will be looking to see if anyone offers her to break the track record if it’s quick.

Looking like being fastish ground.
It’s looking likely I’ll be at Ascot to watch this superstar. For me, if the ground is quick, this will be a track record over 5f here.
June 12, 2017 at 11:25 #1304112I have my doubts about Lady A training on, so I’m keen to oppose her. I’m on Marsha at 6/1, but the stars really have to align for her to run her race, so I’m going to back her up with the French colt Signs of Blessing. He trounced last year’s winner Profitable last month whilst giving him a lot of weight and on ground softer than he would’ve liked. At 8/1 I think he’s worth throwing one more dart at this race.
June 12, 2017 at 13:03 #1304119French colt Signs of Blessing.
A gelding in fact.
June 12, 2017 at 13:41 #1304121Doesn’t old Signs Of Blessing prefer it on soft? He’s got trouble with his back and joints so it’s a bit easier for him away from fast ground.
I certainly wouldn’t say he won despite the surface last time. That feels like quite a fruity piece of form to me.
June 12, 2017 at 16:15 #1304129This is a quote from his trainer:
“That was a truly great performance, having been away for such a long time and having to give a lot of weight away,” trainer Francois Rohaut said. “With all the minor problems we have had with him this winter, we couldn’t bring him back any earlier so I have to be delighted, especially as the ground was also on the soft side which he does not like. He is a truly adaptable horse who loves this racecourse. We’ll head to Royal Ascot now for the [June 20 G1] King’s Stand S.”
June 12, 2017 at 19:20 #1304142Bit of a shonky quote, I think. Goes against plenty of stuff published about the horse in the past.
June 12, 2017 at 20:41 #1304151Started following SOB last year, but he never quite got there ( literally ). I think the trainer has concluded 6F is too far for the horse. Possibly an oval track would be ok, but certainly at Ascot 6F in a top class race is just half a furlong too far.
All his best runs have been on Good ground but does go on Soft. He’s never raced on proper fast ground before, so that’s a bit of an unknown to be fair. He really improved last year and judging by his last run i think he will improve a fair bit this year also.
Hope he wins this as i doubt he will be a 20/1 + price again this year.

If the horse’s trainer says he prefers better ground then that’s good enough for me. He has form on both but that could indicate he’s good enough to win in spite of soft ground, not thanks to it. Just my two cents.
June 16, 2017 at 11:19 #1304454To add my two cents SOB cannot win this on decent ground!!! Sorry to sit on the fence LOL
My two for this are GOLDREAM and PRICELESS
Yes the front two are almighty quick but you know me I am not one for backing favourites very much and the each way the aforementioned two has drew me in!!
It would not surprise me if Lady A just blew them away but I was at Newmarket last year when she completely blew out over six and to be honest I don’t think she would have won over five that day and we can only hope she has retained the speed at the highest level.
Good Luck Guys
June 16, 2017 at 14:54 #1304481To me, this looks a race that at the end of the week the racing world will look back on and ask how on earth Lady Aurelia could possibly have been allowed to go off around 3/1.
I’m trying to see what price I can get on a track record for her in the race.
June 16, 2017 at 16:21 #1304492Only race I’ve had a bet in yet…on Marsha at 5’s and can’t believe it’s not favourite yet…best bet of the week by far!
June 16, 2017 at 22:43 #1304546I’ve finally got my price on the Lady Aurelia track record.
2 bookies offered odds.. Hills at 20s and Paddy Power at 25/1.
So I’m on the latter.
Fast ground over 5f. Is she just going to rip them apart straight from the start? I think so.
June 17, 2017 at 19:46 #1304701Although I can’t deny her obvious claims (my jaw hit the floor in last years Queen Mary) I’m happy to oppose Lady Aurelia here. The times that the progressive Priceless has been wracking up lately for sprint king Clive Cox tell me she can outrun odds of 14/1. Huge claims
June 17, 2017 at 20:09 #1304705M_O_M: Miss Andretti won in 57.44 seconds and since then only Sole Power has managed to dip below 59 seconds. I think it’s an almighty ask for a 3 year old to beat the record but if she does win then I dare say she’ll do so in a lickety-split time; I just don’t think she’ll win. If she does and breaks the record then I’ll spend a week on here praising your foresight.

She ran a quicker time on the same softened ground in her race last year than the Kings Stand also over 5f.
For me, the faster the ground the better and I think it will be rattling fast.
I just think she’s a superstar.
If she wins, I’ll be delighted. If she also was to break the record, even though that’s unlikely,
I’ll be doubly happy with that of course. If the weather was scheduled any rain, I wouldn’t have placed the bet. Fast ground for her could leave us open mouthed.
