This looks a Group 1 in all but name.

Big Evs is my biggest bet. Trainer in in cracking form now (better than last time at Ascot). Probably has more speed than the Aussie horse too and this is a fast track and faster ground. Alflora also has a penalty. There are quite a few prominent runners in the race though. Including the one who’d be by far my best result… Czech horse Ponntos, who looks over-priced at big odds. Believing is my third bet. Maybe this will be too quick but he loves this surface and open to more improvement. Desperate Hero is one that has a lot of speed. Went too fast last time out. Had half a saver on him, but he’s another front runner.

Well done on Big Evs Ginge. She reverses it at York though for me. Would have won today without the bump and shes carried a 5lb pen. York is often a front runners track but i think she’s too good for him whatever the setup in a group 1 weight structure

    WD Ginge :good: .
Quite fancy Believing at York and 365 are still offering 14/1.

    Thanks TTM and Wilts.
Big Evs is imo value for a bit more there.
They went too fast early and the final furlong was slow compared to the rest. Big Evs up with the strong pace and beating those rivals that also raced prominently by a fairly significant margin. That said, Alflora’s penalty and (like Believing) will probability be better suited by York… Believing – although being held up was an advantage coming off the strong pace – was slowly away and lost lengths at the start. However, Believing is often slowly away so no guarantee of a faster start on the knavesmire. Good to see Live The Dream’s form take a step in the right direction too.
