Ha ha, thats the upside of backing long shots, no one is that surprised when they don’t come in. very satisfying when they do mind :)

Noted 66s 6 places – even the devils on this one

All of the reserves are non runners now.
leading fancy Fairyhill Run was 1st reserve and given the ratings that horses have gotten into this race off in recent years, the trainer was right to be gutted not to make the shake up.
If John Ryan feels his horse was well treated and well in, that really highlights the chance of Korashi, big time. A view of the head to heads show that Fairyhill Run was held by that rival to the tune of 3.5 lengths when they contested a hurdles race in January. Korashi steps up in trip from previous chase runs but has the trip well in focus from hurdles form where his rating is higher.
Modus looks very well treated and the claims of conflated cannot easily be dismissed, knowing how well Bolger does with rejuvenating horses.
Those are my three against the field.
Farclas coming back from his Grand National run has to be watched but is sure to put in a good round here before going on to build his season up to another attempt at festival and Aintree glory.

Could chop and change every two minutes here.

Aramax and Annamix are two horses I bet regularly, but the same applies to Born By The Sea, and even with the rise, I have to be with him EW.

Original bets weren’t the biggest, so tempted to top up on Conflated, but with Ontheropes also being backed, I’ll stick with the original Antepost

Born By The Sea EW 6 Places
    Conflated 14’s

I’ve gone for a few ews on outsiders with decent claimers on:
    Home by the Lee
    Shady Operator
    Robin des Foret

The JOB horse kept good company last year and Enda Bolger’s horse, though will find it much harder than the Killarney National where he got his own way up front, has some good back form.

    Very messy race

Suprised the starter let them go as they were going fairly quick when he started it

Hard luck anyone on the Elliott horses as each of them were going well when fell or BD. Hope all jockeys and horses OK, I thought Conflated didn’t look right behind when running loose, hope I’m wrong.
Well done anyone on the winner and it’s nice to see a young jockey getting a big win.
Honourable mention for Brahma Bull who jumped pretty well even though he was hunting along in the pack not leading…I take back the rude things I have said about him!

Brahma ran a monster , backed farclas and I doubt he would have won if not unshipping his jockey

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
