Threeandfourpence was a miserly 10/3 on some returns but was absolutely useless, beaten 26 lengths. What an awful bet he was at the odds tonight. That’s him stuffed 82 lengths in his last two starts.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 5, 2018 at 22:57 #1353165Thanks!

Late bet Bolt D’Oro for me
May 6, 2018 at 00:02 #1353176Weather was a real concern before the off, will have to forgive mendelssohn for that, had a brutal start to the race getting bumped several times.
May 6, 2018 at 00:04 #1353178Wow Justify is a beast. Mendelsohn finished last
May 6, 2018 at 00:07 #1353179Mendelssohn should try again in Breeders cup classic and Dubai World cup next year
May 6, 2018 at 00:08 #1353180That was pretty impressive, I didn’t know how well he would cope with the conditions
but he’s some horse to cope with anything the weather throws at him. It’s been a good
weekend for me so far and I’m hoping the last leg of my treble (Saxon Warrior, Justify
Soliloquy) can see me over the line on Sunday.May 6, 2018 at 00:08 #1353181If we’re being honest, American racing is pretty abysmal isn’t it?

I like the turf events at the Breeders Cup.
I don’t feel like there’s any subtlety or skill required for dirt racing; the formula seems to be early pace + rail = win.
May 6, 2018 at 01:09 #1353187Disastrous trip to Kentucky for Ryan Moore. To add insult to injury a Classic went begging at Newmarket.
He was said to have been fascinated by the Kentucky Derby. Whether that is true, or he was told to go there to let O’Brien’s son land a Classic is something we can only speculate on.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
May 6, 2018 at 01:18 #1353188That’s a farce of a race run in ridiculous conditions
May 6, 2018 at 10:47 #1353225Them ‘merican jockeys don’t mess about, Moore got proper broadsided there didn’t he. I doubt any horse would have won, if it had been taken off its feet after three strides. What a complete joke of a race, the jockey on the horse drawn 16, should be banned for a long time. I did not have a bet on the race, but was looking forwards to Mend v Justify.
Greyhound racing on a flooded beach

I think you’re right with your second assumption Steve. Yesterday was Donnacha’s day. I bet his Dad is gutted he was not there to see it ultimately.
Well done Big G
May 6, 2018 at 16:15 #1353279Best horse won with the best jockey on board, i backed him after his last race
