Hello,
Unfortunately, [or fortunately] I never keep records!!
All historic data regarding horses’, races’ etc. is available thru the net on loads of sites which we all use, so I don’t see any reason for duplicating the information that has been collated by someone else, and probably better!
Keeping a written record of the value of bets struck, winnings and losses is a definite No! No! :)
If you win, enjoy :) ,
If you lose, :( ., Get over it!
Overall there will be a time when you will be in an overall loss, and it will be the time you choose to peruse your "records"…why torture yourself with bad news!
You can get yourself down by digesting the Utility Bills and other day to day arse aches!
Why on earth should you compare a great winning day at The Magnet Cup to a disaster at The Eider Chase?
What use is that?? Hardly comparing like with like!
Through out history people who thought they were clever, kept copious, meticulous records, only to be hung by them at one stage [hung, literally, as members of the Nazi Party found out at Nurembourg!, thankfully.] .
Your records could easily fall into the wrong hands or even worse, your wife’s or partners :o ]. But, seriously, your GAMBLING records could easily come back to haunt you, and remember they must be true as they are written down, and by YOU!
regards,
doyley
