Obviously FOG cast a large shadow at the mile trip but there are a few G1 mile races that FOG will be unlikely to contest (assuming he steps up to 10F after the Sussex Stakes) but the problem is that NS isn’t even the top older miler either, so exploring shorter trips with him (especially given that he clearly doesn’t lack the speed to travel at 6F pace) seems a logical option to explore.
