    One of my favourite races on the calendar, but I actually think it’s a fairly uninspiring renewal myself – it practically qualifies as a veterans chase!

    Sort of race Joe Lively could win if fit but if Notre Pere is fit and can’t win this off levels he’ll be a huge disappiontment.

    Yes you would be hoping Notre Pere will prove much too good for these, I view him as Ireland’s leading 3mile chaser

    Good performance by The Listener in his ideal conditions. Disappointing that Notre Pere didn’t stand up. He might still have had his work cut out against the grey.
