Hi Everyone,
I am looking for some help and advice. I need to find out a little about Japanese Racing for a work project and I start from a pretty high level of ignorance.
Could anyone direct me to any websites where I would be able to research? In effect what I am looking for is some background information on…
* Brief History of Japanese Racing
* Current structure (tracks/race planning)
* Stats – macro stats on runners/prize money etc.Ideally information in English but I appreciate that may be unrealistic.
If anyone can point me in the right direction on where to look I would be very grateful.Very many thanks in advance

there is also lots of background info on the Outline tab at the JRA site:

as to how eager the punters are to get a good space (basically anywhere to sit at the track), take a look at 00:28 here:
March 20, 2019 at 00:56 #1402792I wonder, in fair exchange, if you might furnish, the far more interesting lowdown, on the exact reason and purpose of your work project and who specifically, or in more general terms, is putting the oil in your wick.

RRMarch 20, 2019 at 11:28 #1402813Look as if I am missing out on enough wit and spondoolies or value to join the Yakuza party. And I went to all the trouble of recording the second series of the art of japanese life on channel four which I shall watch in silence in a months time.
Good luck in your endeavours running rein and in your philosophy – silence is golden
