February 13, 2005 at 20:49 #58202Seagull,
As I mentioned to you earlier I will not acknowledge your presence in my thread but as you wish even to be competitive on yours I have to say well done.
You most definitely are the laying king. 13 out of 13, most impressive. So let me get it right – you pick a horse and hope it won’t win. So for example in a 10 horse race you have 9 horses running for you and 1 running against you. Whatever will they think of next? So how do you select them – contact your buddies at the stables and ask them which horses are going to run well and then lay them?
I bet your heart was in your mouth though on the 5 February when you had only 6 out of 6. I notice that you layed Western Roots which only lost by a head at an sp of 8/1. That would have knocked you well back into the negative, especially as you would have had to lay it considerably higher than 8/1. However, it lost and you won, so once again well done.
Sincerely, though I hope your run continues to reach say 50 out of 50 or more before you lay you first winner and that winner is 1/2 on
The winners in my Stagecoach system (which bugs you so much) average about 2/1. I doubt I will ever get 13 winners on the bounce – 5 maybe 6 tops probably follwed by an even bigger losing streak.
You really should be on TV or perhaps you should buy a pitch at Lingfield and out Bismark Barry.
I bow down to you and your infinite knowledge of Trainers records and various tracks.
Keep up the excellent work.

February 14, 2005 at 07:01 #58203rex
I laid out the reasons clearly and simply why I lay certain horses its solely on the trainers record at the particular track.
I personally never do any that I have to offer over 20/1 at and they are all on betfair.
I print off all the pages of my betfair account and have gone 42 times in the past without paying out except the com to betfair. There will be some that start fav there was one some of us on here done the other day which was fav which lost.
My heart is never in my mouth on any as I have a betting bank or kitty and one or even 10 losers on the trot would not wipe it out.
heres a few im looking foward to this coming flat season
c brittain beverley 0-44
r charlton chester 0-15
j fanshawe chester 0-17
j hills doncaster 0-31
pipe goodwood 0-15
chappel hyam haydock 0-17

This is a sarcasm free posting.
You clearly have a good system going here. Long may it continue. Hey, I might even begin to lay them myself.
I applaud you in releasing the winless trainers records to this forum.
Rex
PS Yes I would like to meet the guys who backed Barranco the other day. They are now potless and I will happily buy them a pint or two. ;)

February 15, 2005 at 12:28 #58211Seagull,
If I Hear Thunder runs badly (it is a Stagecoach selection – with 8 ticks in the system’s "boxes") then I will be very impressed. :o
Good luck with the other lay though
