GT – Go for it!
Just need some scorers.
If you can start the threads GT – same rules as the Winter series. I think they worked?
I’ll try to see if someone will sponsor with a prize but get it under way thsi week for Saturday.
Agree with Nathan that you could include weekdays for Royal Ascot, Good wood, York Ebor and maybe Doncaster St Leger meeting. Maybe July Cup meeting at NMKT also? You decide GT but make it clear at the start.
Work out the sats too – maybe only 50% of Sats have to be played to qualify a score at the end (as people generally busier in Summer and off on hols, etc).
And, if you build it they will come….

Thanks guys.

If someone does sponsor a competition, how would the winner (probably Gingerstipster
) receive their prize.May 1, 2013 at 10:54 #438077Paddy Power have offered to sponsor it BUT only if Gingertipster has a PP logo tattooed on his forehead and dyes his hair green………

Will do David,
Good idea to include Ebor and Newmarket too, don’t really think the week days of Doncaster St Leger meeting is of good enough quality. Will also drop the Sats to 50% played minimum. Will do a proper rules page and get it set up for a this weekend start.
Value Is EverythingMay 1, 2013 at 13:32 #438099Just a thought and to make it a little more difficult for Ginger
, could we restrict the number of horses selected per race to 2 win or each way.
If we are trying to beat Pricewise it would even up the boundaries a bit as I believe he never gives more than 1 or 2 selections in a race one sometimes being an each way wager.
Any thoughts? Jac
I think each way might nearly double time spent scoring Jac, so think I’ll keep it to win only. I believe most of Tom Segal Pricewise bets are also win only.
May be it would be best to bring the number of bets down Jac. Just to give others a chance of winning.
Compromise at 3 max per race.Mark

That’s all fine Mark and agreed the each way would make scoring tedious. 3 horses max per race should give us all a chance of winning, but a 50 point headstart would give us a better one.
