The last two times I’ve agreed with you the result has been the same Darren: 1st!

Hopefully this will be the three on the trot

Couldn’t agree more, class horse in the race by miles. Just dubious about putting alot on ante post, I would be happy with evens on the day.

Was given a free £20 bet on this race by PaddyPower and decided against the favourite, mainly because I wont bet ante post anymore and certainly wont take anything at odds on. Went for Duncan at 5 to 1 and got back £40 ?? How does that work?

    Minus £20 free stake
Minus £10 stake as dead heat
    £10 at 5 to 1 without £10 free stake should return £50 ?

    What they seem to have done is this: €20 x 5/1 = €100, + your stake = €120

    Divide that by 2 = €60, minus the €20 = €40.

Thats pretty crap isn’t it? They should be deducting the stake before the deadheat calculation. It looks crap anyway.

I’m presuming the whole year was geared towards the Gold cup and his stamina was totally tested their and it has emptied the tank,by the looks of it the horse will need a long hard rest before we see him back to his best-if ever he gets back to his best that is!

Thankyou, saves me emailing them and moaning, is abit crap but cant complain about free I suppose.

Getting used to seeing AOB odds on defeats and it just confirms for me never in any circumstances bet odds on.

So You Think 4/11 at Ascot
Await the Dawn 8/13 at york
    Seville 5/6 at york
Fame and Glory 1/3 at Curragh
Fame and Glory 8/13 at Curragh

All the Ballydoyle older horses are running poorly. Suspect virus of some sort from watching them fold when the pressure is applied.

Imo, he was undone by the slow pace, and the resultant sprint down the straight. He needs a stiffer test nowadays, and the Quipco 2 miler, or even next year’s Gold Cup, aren’t necessarily beyond him yet.
Can’t buy into this ‘Aiden’s horses are out of form’ either. Seville ran well until appearing to run out of stamina, and So You Think didn’t give that impression, just a few days earlier.

Many of the Ballydoyle older horses seem to be running out of stamina.Yesterday it was St. Nick Abbey,Saturday Fame and Glory ran out of something, energy or stamina.

Getting like Yeats now is Fame and Glory…forgive him for it.

St Nicholas Abbey on the other hand is heading to Germany or somewhere because he can’t stand at Coolmore…he is useless.

Don’t forget he was a brilliant two year old who was pushed to try to win a guineas despite his pedigree.Maybe he was soured.Should not affect his stud duties.Let’s not throw out the baby with the bath water.Montjeu gets Derby winners maybe he will too.
