    I’ve questioned Aligna’s form myself earlier on this thread- i thought you were meaning JH fillies over a mile in general! Millisle hadn’t proved herself over a trip further than 6f- personally speaking she’s totally different to the other too. Staying the mile as a 2yo on soft, suggests they will stay further, but then again, so will Love!

    There’s no trainer you’d trust to win a Guineas more than AOB anywhere, but Jessie’s had 2 runners in this since 2013- 1st and 4th (by 2l)…she’s reliable enough!
    I like Peaceful as a fully, but i do think she might want further as well in time. I’d marginally side with her over Albigna, but not enough to bet.
    This race for me is more for the notebook with the unexposed ones at bigger prices.

    Added Peaceful 7-2. Had a free bet voucher to use up this week. I wasn’t expecting Peaceful to come here when I backed Albigna so have decided to add her now that she is.

    Also backed Peaceful last week at 4/1 (Ante Post Thread) really like this filly and the way she can quicken.
    Love will win The Oaks :good: Jac

    Love will win The Oaks.

    How you know that, the 2 darlings (Domino and Frankly) haven’t thrown their hats into the ring yet. :yes:

    I think Fancy Blue has done very little wrong, and must be open
    to improvement. Unlike Ham, I am having a bet and I can hardly believe Bet365 have
    gone 12/1 this morning. I’ve had some of that.

    @Mike007
    Just a personal view that Love will win the Oaks Mike..it all looks very difficult at the moment and a lot of indecision as to where and when horses will run, so why not :good: Jac

    You might be right Jac as I updated my thoughts on the Oaks thread.

    I’ve backed New York Girl. Probably more likely to shape well and be one for future races, but i think she has a lot of quality.

    Well done backers

    I had a little on New York girl e/w 4 places so got my place money

    Aiden sure knows how to train these fillies

    Certain trainers are just better at it, like Mullins over jumps and gosden in england

    Not sure what to make of albigna, was very flat, not sure if she hasnt trained on or if she is just better ridden for luck out the back

    Peaceful quickens away from the field and wins the Irish Guineas :yahoo:
    She loved the ground and being back home. What a beauty. :heart:

    Well done to all who backed her.
    Good race from 2nd and 3rd but they were never going to catch her.

    WD Peaceful backers. Not that it was ever in doubt but Galileo now overtakes Danehill as the greatest G1 winning sire in history.

    Jac you are in flying form :yahoo:
    Congratulations for spotting all those Guineas winners :bye: :good:
    Unfortunately I didn’t follow you in, as the only thing I really know about Irish racing is that the grass is very green over there :-)
    With one exception:
    In 1997 I was at Leopardstown and won a 100 quid on Pilsudki under M. Kinane, glory days :rose:

    By the way I hope O’Brien said the magic words again:

    Thanks Frenchy :good: Re the Coronation I suppose it depends on how she has come put of this race. She looked a million dollars and sure they would be confident of a good run from her next Friday but could she actually be better than Love and be targeted for The Oaks which would give her 3 weeks to prepare. There’s no doubt that she’ll stay and I prefer her action to that of Love if the surface is quick.

    As Hein says ‘the lads are definitely over the moon’ and sure they already know where Peaceful will be heading next..wherever she goes I’m definitely following. :good:

    @Hein
    Nice to hear from you Hein and Mick
    Kinane was one of the best.
    I’ve hit tbe bar a few times with earlier choices but today it all came right and I couldn’t be happier for the filly she’s a real fighter and reminds me of Minding. B-)
    Best of luck and well done winners. :rose: Jac
