Can anybody clarify whats happened to belstane stables and the horses within as last i heard Mr Semple quit. Has a new trainer been found for the stables or have the horses joined stables elsewhere?
February 10, 2010 at 22:55 #275518Pretty sure Noel Wilson is there now.
February 10, 2010 at 23:06 #275521He is indeed. Ingleby Star was apparently his first winner from his new base at Wolverhampton on Monday.

February 11, 2010 at 13:39 #275597Nice name – shame about the horse!
Gone with the beast almost every time since its last Plumpton victory (he likes it there and Fontwell – good ground, mind
)Seems to give his fences plenty of air and has a rather deceiving stride that creates the illusion of momentum….

Do you have an affiliation with the horse, SV, or is it just masochism?
February 11, 2010 at 18:34 #275665Strolling Vagabond – put on this earth to make Wishes Or Watches appear speedy.
Needless to say, I love ’em both.

No affiliation with the horse, just won a fair few quid on it in the past. Not the best horse in the world but big heart and stays all day long. One Sunday at Fontwell, he looked beat 3 out but plugged on and won!!
It was either Strolling Vagabond or Jonny Ebeneezer and someone had already stolen that username!!!
