To be fair to HRI the lists do include some old ones , Perfect Touch ( USA ) was a 26 year old broodmare that is shown to have died at that age in RP .
Been a few others ive seen at advanced ages , so not all on track or disppeared because they are slow .
26 a good innings .

Oh. I thought HRI was horse racing Ireland but it confused me having a list of obituaries afterwards.

HRI publish a weekly supplement which lists all sorts of things, including horses deceased/gelded and more recently, retired. It’s a very useful thing, although I wish they kept an archive (or if they do, I wish I could find it!).
