October 18, 2006 at 19:11 #89514How much money is that now FHL?
October 18, 2006 at 20:05 #89515£65.63 now Flat
Pleasing but think I do need a better staking plan
October 19, 2006 at 19:02 #89516Well done FHL; I’ve been watching your posts and so far they are impressive.
Just a couple of queries though.
Is Hove dogs on Sky ?
Is there much money traded on betfair for these races? If say, neither trap 3 nor 6 had come in after say, 5 races, would you be able to get sufficient on to get into profit?
You’ve obviously researched this and so I hope this doesn’t sound like a carp, but I’m always very cynical when it comes to systems. How would you have fared if you had selected another combination of traps (say 2 and 4, or 1 and 5 or any other combination ?)
Did your research show that traps 3 and 6 had a higher than average success rate? If so why should this be?
If neither trap won at all one day, roughly how much would you be down and would that wipe out all previous profits? (This is where staking plan might come under scrutiny.)
Good luck though, I hope this carries on paying its way for you.
October 19, 2006 at 19:15 #89517Hello Pal
Some good questions
Hove is not on Sky,and I only bet the Bags meetings on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons.
Only also use Betfair where about £7,000 is matched on average per race.
The main reason I use Betfair is that the odds are a lot higher than relayed to the betting shops.
As for the selection method its based on trap stats and the way the track will run.
I work with a decent betting bank and although yet to go a meeting without a winner, that scenario would probably empty the bank!
Would listen to any advice about a sensible staking plan
