Punchestown this Sunday….

Only one horse in my mind for this, and it’s Stones and Roses. Fairly lobbing along when unseating in The Paddy Power, and surely a winner waiting to happen.
Don’t always get an Antepost Market in this, but I’ll play him early if there is.
The others who catch my eye are….
Alfa Mix
Champagne Platinum
The Big DogStones and Roses
February 7, 2022 at 19:53 #1582019If there is an antepost market will be interesting to see the prices as a lot of the entries ran in the thyestes very recently and must be doubtful runners
Torygraph would be interesting, if the plan for him is Irish national then he will need to go up a few lbs to get in most likely
February 8, 2022 at 15:41 #1582106History Of Fashion for me, and it will be ew of the odds allow. It will also be a free bet
February 8, 2022 at 20:19 #1582162Market up FF….
The price for Stones and Roses is so good, that there must be a good chance he’s not going. Probably makes sense to wait. I took it though
Stones and Roses 16’s
February 9, 2022 at 13:33 #1582213That’s an attractive price Bobby i think i’d be backing him too.
Brace Yourself is another i’m half considering. Decent record fresh and didn’t get into the Thyestes, so i imagine he’s fit and well.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 10, 2022 at 19:32 #1582461Jack, if he runs, it’s Brace Yourself for me too. Should he not run, then I’ll probably bet The Big Dog
February 11, 2022 at 16:35 #1582627My ratings for this are quite spread with many having questions to ask.
158 Alfa Mix
156 Champagne Platinum
153 The Dabbler
151 Death Duty
146 Stones And RosesNot sure of prices yet, would happily cover the top three if I could get minimum 6/4 against the group as few of the rest inspire on current form. The one that particularly catches my eye is The Dabbler whose second to Smoking Gun over 3m 5f at Fairyhouse reads well. He’s been off since that run in November but won off a similar break last August.
February 11, 2022 at 22:59 #1582724The Dabbler is my nap of the weekend. I think that 10-1 is a really good price
February 13, 2022 at 13:27 #1583000Coko Beach 10/1, and Brace Yourself 18/1. I’ve taken them both win only, although there was a real temptation to bet the Meade horse ew
February 13, 2022 at 13:31 #1583001Death duty caught the eye running on last time and looks the value bet , win only
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 13, 2022 at 13:33 #1583002Missed the price, but The Dabler off a light weight for me.
February 13, 2022 at 14:31 #1583004Floueur and torygraph for me
Think both will win a pot this season
Might not be today but will follow both for a few runs
February 13, 2022 at 15:00 #1583013Nice to see the old boy win , coko beach ran a cracker with top weight
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 14, 2022 at 11:07 #1583117Haven’t read anything about the incident at the early fence – it was omitted on the second lap after Brace Yourself and The Dabbler came down. Were they both ok?
February 17, 2022 at 18:49 #1583590QF, sadly Brace Yourself appeared in the HRI list of horses who have died. The Dabbler wasn’t on it so hope OK.
