No bad intention I guess
@Ian: this topic was created without the help of ‘click bait’October 9, 2023 at 13:51 #1666090I noticed!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"October 9, 2023 at 13:52 #1666091Silly girl, surely she had an English translator with her or would have had access to one while in Japan and why is she not packing the likes of ibuprofen and paracetamol in with her toiletries when travelling abroad?
Also, a fast tracked hearing for something that happened in April………hate to think what the normal turnaround time is at the BHA.
October 9, 2023 at 20:03 #1666120Currently in awful form – 1 winner in last 36 rides.
I wonder whether the outcome of this investigation , and the subsequent annoncement have been preying on her mind , and adversely affecting her ?.
It seems unprofessional to me , as LD73 highlights , if not packing her own medications , then to , at least have a translation of some sort performed.October 10, 2023 at 12:20 #1666149I googled that medication, Pabron Ace Pro (also called AP Pro), and the first result provided a list of ingredients in English …

Dihydrocodeine Phosphate 8mg
dl-Methylephedrine Hydrochloride 20mg
Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2.5mg
Riboflavin 4mg
cellulose, anhydrous silicic acid ,Lactose ,Hypromellose,Hydroxypropylcellulose,Sodium starch glycolate,TalcOctober 10, 2023 at 14:20 #1666160A small amount of codeine only (8mg). Prescribed codeine is usually 30-60mg four times per day.
Which does suggest it was inadvertent (if that was the medication taken)October 10, 2023 at 15:41 #1666163As a professional athlete subject to a drug testing regime, I would suggest avoiding any medication containing codeine.
At best it’s inadvertent, at worst it’s careless. After all, it’s strict liability for doping offences. So the athlete needs to take all reasonable precautions to avoid a positive.

Woman. She’s 26.
October 10, 2023 at 23:05 #1666202That’s a worrying mixture of drugs: chlorpheneramine and codeine are both sedatives.
October 10, 2023 at 23:54 #1666209Thanks for the info Archipenko.
If that info is available to you , I , and therefore Ms.Doyle , then I was suggest that she was extremely remiss in not checking it out fully , as a licensed professional jockey / athlete.
Perhaps she has been treated as leniently as she could have hoped for ?.October 11, 2023 at 04:41 #1666211Compare difference in treatment of top jockey taking banned substance and journeyman jockey taking banned substance for long term condition.
October 13, 2023 at 11:14 #1666428She’s lucky she’s not a cyclist – she’d be in proper trouble…..
