Meanwhile Henderson is apparently mystified as to why Sir Gino is drifting in the Triumph Hurdle market, despite half of all Cheltenham headlines and conversations being about the dismal form of his stable.
March 10, 2024 at 22:05 #1684444I’m at Plumpton tomorrow, where the safest bet of the day is that all eyes will be on how Nicky’s only runner shapes up in the first race.
March 11, 2024 at 14:23 #1684543Well he wasn’t pulled up but beaten a long way out. Good ride from Bryony on the winner.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 11, 2024 at 14:54 #1684551Classic Bryony ride. She really is excellent.
As you say, the Henderson horse was beaten a mile out. Will be watching rather than backing his horses for tomorrow at least.March 11, 2024 at 15:25 #1684555Thing is with this guessing game on the Cheltenham string is that the one you watch to see how they get on will likely go and win giving you some false confidence only for the one you actually back to run a shocker.
For me, if you haven’t already backed one of his horses then I couldn’t trust that any of them will run their race and would have to avoid backing his horses at the meeting and just take it on the chin if one (or more) of them then go on and win.
March 11, 2024 at 16:26 #1684568How many winners do people think he’ll have at cheltenham …will he have a winner
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 11, 2024 at 18:37 #1684605I think he may struggle to get even 1……..queue him having several and me scraping all that egg off my face in time to see the a large piece of humble pie being delivered.
March 11, 2024 at 19:11 #1684620I’ll be taking the plunge on Sir Gino. Surely Hendo must get one winner😆
Even when Mullins has had a dominant festival, Henderson always provided the proverbial ‘thorn in the side’ with his best horses i.e … Altior, Constitution Hill, Sprinter Sacre, etcI’m hoping (fingers, toes, arms, legs and balls crossed) that Sir Gino wins.
March 12, 2024 at 13:37 #1684824Tailed off and pulled up straight. But Nicky didn’t know that otherwise he would have told us.
March 12, 2024 at 15:36 #1684931Luccia a career best. That’s more like it.
March 12, 2024 at 15:42 #1684938But no show from Iberico Lord. At least the supplementary fee is loose change to JP.
March 12, 2024 at 15:50 #1684949Must be one of the strangest supplements ever considering the health of the yard
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 12, 2024 at 16:18 #1684972Theatre Glory and Marie’s Rock beaten after 1m4f, once again tailed off and PU.
That’s 4 PUs from five runners, but I’m sure everything is fine with the rest of his string.March 12, 2024 at 16:23 #1684976I think we have enough evidence now that the stable has a major problem. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a lot of non runners now.
March 12, 2024 at 16:23 #1684977Jonbon still 7/2 …

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 12, 2024 at 16:26 #1684980If Luccia has the same lurgy that all of her stablemates seem to have, then Constitution Hill is no longer the best horse in the Henderson stable!
March 12, 2024 at 16:46 #1684991Surprised Sir Gino is as short as 2.8 on Betfair.
