I’d say CH is more likely to turn up at Punchestown than the DRF. His least impressive performance so far was in the Aintree Hurdle, so it would make sense to keep him to two miles.
Kempton- Cheltenham- Punchestown could well be his season.
December 3, 2023 at 20:10 #1672647If there was a festival winner in this race I think it might be the mare back in 3rd. The stayers is weak for sure but I can’t get my head around Teahupoo getting beat by the old man of the party last year on his favoured ground. Early days with IEP but I can definitely see a scenario where Townend is on State Man again even though we know he can’t beat Constitution Hill
December 3, 2023 at 20:45 #1672650Seems Teahupoo is now going straight to the Stayers with nothing inbetween.
The more I know the less I understand.

December 3, 2023 at 21:52 #1672658Not sure how he is fav for the Stayers to be honest, Oddschecker have several shopping lists of horses quoted, even Shishkin is quoted along with a number that are currently on a novice chasing campaign…….anyones guess who ends up making the starting line up.
Teahupoo had his conditions last year and yes he did have to switch course but if the first three show up again (the 1st and 2nd are currently quoted at 20s and 25s) I wouldn’t be confident that he would reverse placings with either of them and his Cheltenham record is 0-2.
