If it was a Handicap, OR 165 Honeysuckle would be conceding 2lb and more all round.

As it isn’t, she receives 7lb from all bar Echoes In Rain.

But it’s worth noting that in Klassical Dream and Saldier she faces rivals with higher ORs than what Constitution Hill faced at Newcastle.

I think that Honeysuckle certainly wins this, but I feel that she’ll earn it alright, and I expect a better run from Saldier if he goes.

It’s probably more sensible to wait, but I’ve taken advantage of the 3pls with Skybet for 20-1

Klassical dream will give her a race if turning up

Think this is actually his best trip

Though he will likely wait till Christmas to run him

Really want to take advantage of that extra place for Sire Du Berlais, but no option but to wait.

Hasn’t went here before, and though he showed me enough in The Lismullen, it would still require a big effort to make the frame here. Part of me thinks he might be aimed at Pertemps again, but I’ll probably have a wee interest if he’s declared here.

Pleased I waited with three places still on offer. Sire Du Berlais could get lapped here if he’s not 100%, but with him hitting 50’s, I’ll definitely bet him EW at some point

I expect her to win but I’ve got to play Klassical at the prices , he,s best fresh and this should be the perfect distance , e.w Saldier should be the fittest horse here , hopefully he can plug in into a place

    Klassical Dream win

    Saldier e.w

No bet for me, I expect Honeysuckle to win eight lengths, or by less on the bit, but if she makes heavy weather of it or, heaven forbid, gets beat well, “scenes” doesn’t even begin to cover it: “Apocalypse NOW!”

Chezza loves the smell of napalm in the morning: it smells like….VICTORY.

Didn’t look too happy throughout the race. Maybe it was too soft, maybe she needed the run. I wouldn’t write her off, but the road to the CH is a very long one and she won’t be the favorite at any stage.

    Twos on.

Echoes In Rain was travelling well when she fell – hope she’s ok.

The two who just beat her were giving Honeysuckle 7lb, which is often forgotten.

And some call Constitution Hill the hype horse.

Smashing mare, but she’s been getting 7lb in a non-vintage era for hurdlers.
