Yes the old enigma has been retired.
Thanks for the memories over the years.
Will always remember how he came there cruising in the Fighting Fifth in 2007 and went past Katchit and Al Eile as if they weren’t even trying.
Have a good one Harchi!!!
December 1, 2009 at 14:51 #261516He’ll be missed from the track that is for sure – what a joker
No better sight on a racecourse than Harchi pinging his hurdles scything through a field with Carberry’s arse in the air!
December 1, 2009 at 15:43 #261532I hope the old rogue enjoys his retirement.
I’m sure he’ll enjoy doing f*** all, watching the world go by!
Take Care, Harchibald.
December 1, 2009 at 15:46 #261533A great horse.
One of those great enigmas that get us interested in the game and divides opinions. Personally, I loved him and would happily give him a home if Derek Sharkey or Noel Meade didnt want him!
Harchi – you will be missed. From the County Hurdle to the XMas Hurdle when you beat the Rooster. Youve given me enough memories in the game to last a lifetime and may you enjoy your retirement.
December 1, 2009 at 16:00 #261537Good to see the old character retired in one piece after returning sore from a run on the flat
Glad connections weren’t going to persist with him novice chasing at the advanced age of 10
