    The press attach the above prefix so often that you’d be forgiven for thinking it was Luca Cumani’s full name.

    When did he last win a big handicap prize, or has the name just stuck from years ago ?

    I think you are right to question it, the phrase probably originated when he seemingly mopped up the old Extel at Goodwood every year.

    In the last three seasons, he’s had six horses that won a handicap worth at least £100k.
