    That sounds more feasible, Aragorn.
    Times for the chases yesterday suggest the ground was no worse than the official g/s, and the proximity of Twist Magic at the finish lends credence to the view that it wasn’t much of a stamina test.
    He did lead a much better field until the last at Aintree though, on very similar ground?

    I’ve only just got round to watching the race. I think Nacarat will run much better in the King George and yesterday’s race was more of a prep run. I do wonder though whether, come Boxing Day, they might regret not having AP who seemed to make a real difference to him last season.
