It’s not the most star studded line up, but still a decent race, and one I like to have a bet in, for all it’s never a massive one.

Greaneteen could have a big season in him, and I could see him strolling this, and I think that Bun Doran could outrun his odds, but I’m going to take a chance on Glen Forsa.

He looked a proper star, before slightly disappointing Spring 2019.

Only one run last season, where he looked back to his old self in a decent race at Newbury.

I’m hoping he can build on that, and he might be the forgotten horse here. Happy to see Brian Hughes up.

He’s 8’s just now, but hoping to beat that.

    Glen Forsa

Far from sold on the Grand Annual form from last year and, accordingly, think Greaneteen is a terrible price for this. Makes the market for just about everything else, but Esprit Du Large is the most glaringly overpriced runner in the field. His win at Sandown was really good and the 2nd’s subsequent defeat looks better after Rouge Vif’s exploits the other week.

Remember cleaning up on Monkerhostin at 14s in this years ago when Kauto Star was favourite. Great memories.

I’m with you on Esprit du Large TKF. He won here under a good ride from Adam Wedge last season and his jumping improved as the race went on, then coped well at Sandown despite the fact that he jumps slightly left. OK it was not the strongest Henry VIII ever but he was going OK in the Arkle too and jumped well till he got unlucky. He wouldn’t have won but I think he would have gone up the hill OK and perhaps been third.

He’s big enough and young enough to improve and hopefully Global Citizen will give him something to run at. I’m going to have a little ew tickle on him for the Tingle Creek as well. He’s not whip fast over his fences and might end up more of a 2.5 miler but I do like him.

I think Greaneteen is a much better horse going right handed. I’d be confident his 4th in the Grand Annual wasn’t his best showing and i think he will win this.

I’m a big fan of Not The Fuisse and can easily ignore his last run. I think he has a bit in hand here.

WD TYT, he just did what he had to do. A great race by Moonlighter too.
Esprit du Large appeared to be travelling OK, hope he is alright.

Thanks grass, VtC. Had him in a double with Bravemansgame so I had a minor sweat on after the last!
