    The 11-year-old collapsed and died shortly after the finish of the Veterans’ Chase at Cartmel today. It was an attitional 3 mile 6 furlong race, with a couple of other runners being pulled up having gone lame too.

    RIP old boy.

    Poor lad, I thought he looked bad at the finish. The race was certainly uncomfortable viewing, hope the others will be okay.
