    Fatally injured in a fall in the 4.25 at Uttoxeter today. RIP.

    That was an awful fall – stepped at the hurdle when he was tired and somersaulted. It looked instant to me but I heard they were still trying to save him 30 mins after the fall … sad end. RIP

    It was a terrible fall, and the screens were up for almost an hour, whilst they were working on him. RIP warrior.
    Connak also seemed to have been a sad fatality after Midlands Grand National. Collapsed in front of the stands after the gruelling race, and water was being thrown on him, until the screens were eventually erected. Sadly he was taken away in the horse ambulance, and things did not look good. Any news anyone?

    I too thought it had been instant when I saw the way he was down. Maybe would have been better if it had been. Horrible.
