    Wd winners.

Bit of a drat moment as my shortlist of 2 was Beau Bay and Vallis and went for the younger model.

Well done to Beau Bay and his backers (including me at 20s)!

A sad sight to see a after 2 fences already tailed off Might Bite running his heart out over fences he can’t jump at all. Zero talent for them….. But it speakes volumes for the stable at the moment.

They must retire Might Bite now. I was really worried for him today and relieved he did not fall and hurt himself or worse.

They have tried cross country and now the National fences. There is nowhere else to go.

Very sad to see such a talented novice and King George winner end up this way.

I was absolutely spitting feathers when I saw he was being held up. To say I was feeling short changed was an understatement. However I’ve since read that he suffered a burst blood vessel which would explain a lot.

Well done winners. I always tell myself to back horses proven over course and distance in this, only to be suckered in by an up and comer. That said, i was utterly convinced approaching 2 out that my 14/1 bet on Senior Citizen was about to skate in but he sadly didn’t get home in the soft conditions. He’s handicapped to win a good pot on better ground.
