    Absolutely heartbreaking. Backed him today, as I always do. He’s just been so unlucky. Can hardly bear to watch this lately.

    Always horrible to lose an old warrior ,especially one so tough and seemed to have got his act together again this year

    Poor Golden Chieftain. Had a very terrible time the last three races taking a somersault at Exeter, another somersault at Uttoxeter and now this. Horrible, just horrible the last two months of his life. Feel very sorry him….

    Gutted to read this. Had found a new lease of life this season and had been terribly unlucky before this awful incident. RIP Golden Chieftain :cry:
